I got this seed on a random world generation, and it's amazing. By far the best seed I've ever seen: Lots of resources and easy building locations for beginners, but plenty of adventures and challenges for anyone with more experience. You spawn at the border of an open plain with a birch forest right next to you. Easy to dig into the birch forest hill for a quick first-night shelter. There's a river to the east, and across the river is one of two extreme hills biomes. Most of those hills have at least one gently-sloping side for easy climbing, the mining is fantastic, and there's lots of exposed coal. That alone would be great, but there are several other biomes less than a day's walk from there.
I strongly recommend pulling this seed up in creative mode first so you can fly around and get an idea of what's out there. Otherwise, you'll probably make the same mistake I did the first time around and set up several, "I'm totally base building here!" houses, only to start over somewhere nearby because you went for a little walk and found something even better just over a hill. Also: Make a compass ASAP. There are a lot of open plains, so it's very easy to find your way around, but that gave me a false sense of security a few times. With several duplicate biomes, it's easy to think, "Oh look! It's my desert! I totally know where I am. I just need to walk along the border until I get to... A savannah? Crap. There must be two deserts and I have no idea where this one goes."
So far, I've found:
- 2 extreme hills biomes. The one closest to the spawn location has hills with very flat tops that make for easy walking and a potentially easy build. The other (north of spawn) has a village with a librarian... maybe a second librarian and a butcher? I'm getting villages mixed up because I've found six of them so far in this seed. Both EH biomes have floating rocks, massive hilltop caves and overhangs, waterfalls, and lava falls. I've staircase-mined down to bedrock in the EH close to the spawn location and found massive caves with lots of emeralds, diamonds, gold, and redstone.
- 2 deserts, both with villages. One desert is a major hub of plains (yes, plural), swamp, jungle, and dark oak forest, with the northern extreme hills and a tiaga nearby. The village in that desert is one sand dune away from a plains village with a blacksmith shop. The other desert (south of spawn) borders the first extreme hills, a savannah, and what I think may be ocean. Pretty sure that village has a librarian. It's bigger than the other desert village.
- 2 swamps, one with a village. The other, I haven't explored enough to know if there's a village there. The village I did find has a blacksmith's shop with decent loot.
- Jungle. Northwest-ish of spawn. It's right at an intersection of desert, swamp, and plains.
- 2 savannahs. One savannah is a savannah plateau, maybe? It's either savannah plateau or a savannah extreme hills. Massive overhangs, floating rock, lava falls. Awesomeness. The regular savannah has a village with a church and a few other speciality villagers.
- Tiaga. I'm pretty sure I saw a few mega spruce on the horizon. Tiaga is near the second (northern) extreme hills biome, right next to the swamp village, jungle, and desert.
- Dark oak forests. There are a lot of thin strips of dark oak forest bordering some of the biomes. It's great because you get the resources without a massive patch of land being taken up by monster-spawning dark forest. There's enough darkness that you could easily set up a monster trap for daytime hunting.
- Plains. Lots of plains. There are a few standard plains, and one sunflower plain.
I may be forgetting something. Probably am. I really can't to justice to the seed in a written description anyway. I can only attach 5 photos, but that will only give you the smallest idea of what is in this seed.
