So I started fallow in instructions to a youtube video on making a industrial synchronized furnace.
I have remade the system twice and I still have an issue.
Here is a link to the video.
My problem is the smeltable/cookable items only go half way down the hoppers and don't fill every furnace. My guess is the piston is blocking the signal even though a minecart with a chest is dropping the items.
This build was thought up in 15.0
And I'm currently in 1.1
If their is any redstone experts out their who can help that would be fantastic.
Make sure the tutorials use include pocket edition compatibility, as this one was meant for PC. It's probably a bug that they will fix in an upcoming update, but first of all, if you haven't already done so, check to make sure you have hoppers flowing into the side of the furnaces for fuel, as well as in from the top for the items to be smelted. Be sure that all your hoppers are pointing in the right direction, and I hope this helped. Best of luck!
Their isn't an efficient system tutorial for pocket edition yet sadly. And the hoppers are all facing the correct positions. The fuel goes to every furnace but because the piston is by the top tracks it stops dropping..
The picture of the video shows where the problem is. The first 3 furnaces work (8 total) furnace 4-8 don't fire up. Because the top cart won't drop once it passes the piston.
Figure that gives you some what of an idea since I already torn down the system in my realm.
Just picture those furnaces u see plus the one behind the piston not firing up because theirs no food or ore. Cole deposits fine because the rails don't touch the piston
My guess is since the piston sends a redstone signal it shuts off the hopper and the carts depositing system.
Ah, alright. I would try rotating the actual redstone portion 90 degrees away from the main portion so it doesn't send said unwanted redstone signal. I can build it and show you exactly what I mean if you need help.

The funniest thing about this signature is by the time you realize it doesn't say anything important it's already too late to stop reading it.

Can you show me what the piston is doing?

That would be fantastic! I was trying other solutions but I'm pretty new at redstone and don't really understand the Pistons purpose.
I built a new industrial furnace but it's slower and doesn't sync between all furnaces.
