Hey guys, I am working on a survival server in MCPE and I was hoping to get some tips on how to prevent my world from being ruined. If you use the app called Multiplayer for Minecraft PE regularly, I'm sure you've had your fair share of people coming onto a world just to wreak havoc. Please put any tips you know to work down below.
Griefers are often 30-something-year-olds living in their parent's dark basement. They often love nothing but to destroy what others have made. Have you been having trouble with a griefier? If so, I may have some suggestions for your dilemma. I am not familiar with the PE edition as much but I will help in whatever way I can.
#1: The Minecart Door: With this method, you place a minecart inside your base (preferably located in a cave) and leave a one-block sized hole for you to be able to get into the minecart by clicking (touching) it. I am not exactly sure how you get out, but it is worth a shot.
#2: The Underwater Base: Simply build a base under water, and use a sign to stop water flow into your base. Not a very secure base however,
#3: Dirt Walls: This is very effective. I invented this strategy for Factions servers but it should work for anything. First step: Build your base in a cave and make a branch tunnel. Second, make a room at the end of this tunnel in which to place your chests and items in. Then block this tunnel of with dirt blocks. Also make this cave look less finished than it is. This way, the dirt walls will not be obvious.
Those are three strategies and I hope they help. As a side note, are you running this server yourself? If so, you may be able to install grief protection plugins onto your server. That's just my advice.

Hope it's helpful! Thanks!
Thank you! I will try all of these and see if they work!

Thanks for responding! I was looking for suggestions of building tips (hidden chests, obsidian) too, if you have any.

At best, you could make everyone spawn in a bedrock box, but that doesn't really tell you who is a griefer and who is a legit player.
Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
Alpha 1.0.4
I get what you mean, but there's got to be something else, geez.

What are plugins, and are they on iOS?
DANCE PARTY!!
I do not know if plugins are available on iOS. Plugins are addons to server and are (if not on iOS) available on PC and Mac.
