I have a great survival world, and yesterday I moved out of my house in a Mega Tiaga Biome, in search for a new biome to build my house in. when I left I had 8 diamonds, and over 50 iron. After a few in-game days of traveling, i came across a huge sand biome joining with a spruce biome. I made a little house, stored all of my valuables (diamond, iron, redstone, gold) in a chest, and had a look around. I found a cave that leads down to several lava-falls. I found more gold and more iron, only to find that there is a skeleton dungeon right by the entrance/exit of the cave, which i would have to build a staircase to get back up, so the skeletons killed me. I had full iron tools and full iron armor. I crafted more iron tools and went back to the cave, and quickly grabbed my stuff and rushed past the skeletons so i could mine some more because this cave is HUGE. I was wondering around the cave only to find another dungeon, this time a zombie one, so i was slaughtered by the zombies. this went on again and again, while i used more iron on tools, i even tried mining down where i thought the skeleton dungeon might be, but instead found an abandoned mineshaft, which is right by the zombie dungeon. I have already found two dungeons and destroyed them and i have a good tactic to beat them but this zombie dungeon just doesnt stop spawning mobs. after constantly trying to get my stuff back, and having over 50 iron, i now have only half my armor, and 7 iron left.
So... the point im trying to make is if i should keep trying to get my stuff and destroy the dungeons, or just give up on it. It would be great to know what you guys think.
