If I have the app and I start a server at my friend's house, can he join the server without having the app? He would be connected to the wifi on his iPhone 3 and his little brother would be connected on his iPod with wifi. So can some people play via wifi on a server?
Also, if I visit a world of someone I don't know, can I save the world for myself?
If you start the server at your friends house anyone on the same wifi can connect to you locally without the app. They won't show up in the app and be able to voice chat (which probably doesn't matter since you're siting next to each other!)
If you host, local wifi users can join to you (with or without the app), and online users can join you through the app.
What you cannot do is you connect to a online server, and local players connect through you without the app.
Thanks! That's what I was hoping for: my friends can connect to my game via wifi and random people can connect to the game from afar, both at the same time! I understand that the players connecting via wifi can't connect to voice chat. Sorry, it is a kinda confusing question I had. I think I'll buy the app.

Do the people that connect via wifi count towards the four person limit on the app?
I downloaded it, but do I have to create a server to be able to turn voice chat off? I can't find the option on my iPhone and I can't find the edit block list thing either. How do I turn voice chat off so nobody hears anything from my house lol?
And how do I join a server and not have voice chat on?
Okay so after a few days of using the app, here are my suggestions...
#1. The "kill time" thing doesn't really make sense to me... I don't see why it is there, I think it could be removed.
#2. I dislike how I can't quit when connecting to a game. If the other person's wifi is slow or the room is full, I don't want to wait 45 seconds before I do anything. It usually connects for me within 10 seconds if all is good.
#3. Report feature for "griefers" (I guess they are called that from what I've read)... If they get so many reports, you review them and can give a TEMPORARY ban from the app, like a day, and then if it happens again, do 3 days, then a week, ect. IDK if that's something you'd like to do, but I started hosting a survival game and half the people that joined came into the house I built by knocking down the walls and then they killed me and I lost all my stuff... I had no clue who was doing it, so I kicked most of them and when it kept happening, I started banning everyone in the room.
#4. A text chat in your app (not minecraft) would be cool for each server.
I know this is a lot and it may sound rude, but it isn't meant to be. I don't regret paying $2.99 for the app, it was money well spent! I love the app, but there are some things I don't love about it as I listed above. Just suggestions so you can make it better though. I think the most important one would be a quit option when connecting to a server.
We hope today. Apple take 6/7 days usually to approve apps, but updates are usually faster. Today is day 7, so it should be today or tomorrow! I'll let you know when it's out!

Well, that's around a month or so. I wouldn't call that soon. XD
That is very true.So we can get this with a promo code but we just can't review the app? Cool.
Anyways, I don't really need this app, but might as well buy it to support you guys.

Thanks for making this app, it is awesome!
It's fine! Once you do get it, I'd suggest buying it
