I hope creepers will spawn in my old world because for some reason, in the last update, cows and chickens never spawned in my older world that was created in 0.2.0..
It's not that hard, but we will have to start over with all our current mods since everything will be different. Anyway, mods will come out so don't bug us about them, we haven't forgot about it, it's just best to release them after the update.

Not true. The way animals spawn us different then monsters. All animals are spawned on grass blocks when the world is created, while monsters can spawn anywhere under a certain light level. This means that upon creating a world, it will place all the animals included in the update accordingly, but if you download an update after creating a world, it won't spawn any NEW animals. However, monsters will still spawn at any time, not just when the world was created, so if we get creepers, they will still spawn in your old world. I'm not sure if this is good or bad though...

When I make banners, people always say "THANK YOU SO MUCH OMG YOU ARE AWESOME" but never give me a +1. It makes me sad.
Anyway, to update your world, just change the game ode from creative to survival to creative. Or perhaps from survival to creative to survival. I did that for an old world started way back in 1.3, and now chickens are everywhere! The game just recognizes it as a "new" block.
No, it's just that animals are at a certain amount in each world, that means there is a max amount of animals allowed in worlds, that's why mobs can be replaced because they burn in the light and die, then they respawn, while animals, rarely die by themselves, so you have to kill them to give them more room for the new animals to spawn somewhere.

just create a world after the update and copy the entities file into your old world and everything you had will be their and you will have everything new too

Not true, if you replace the entities.dat file with a new one the old animals will disappear, so if you have a zoo or something most likely everything will be gone.

However,It may take longer for Android as we need to wait patiently as iOS takes a longer time to approve the Update for Minecraft Pocket Edition.
Normally I am very patient but this update is taking quite a while
Edit: in another tweet he also said I don't have exact date, if that so means that he doesn't know when, so that means he send it
