well i disagree 110%..i play only survival on my galaxy note 4 and before that was my galaxy S4 and i have a blast on both phones. I built an Awesome World (again IN Survival ONLY) and i am dang proud of it. i have a large mansion house ontop of a mountain with sweet balcony. I just built a new enchanting room about 100 blocks away on a neighbor hill and have a sweet rail that leads right too it. I have 3 giant nether spires that were from using the nether Reactor (cool looking in the background). i have about 45 diamonds stocked up in my chest. another 20 worth in tools and armor. About 150 iron ingots ,65 Gold Ingots, 120 Solid Blocks of Redstone, Awesome Farms of all foods and animals. A sick basement dug out of the mountain which left me a huge room. and now they added in the nether and hunger and enchanting and all the potions and the anvil Ect. Ect. Which makes it all the more sweeter. plus i have the Windows 10 edition and can now play MCPE with my xbox controller which makes it even better than it already was.
IMO mcpe is not worth it if you already have the PC version.

Playability of MCPE on android device depends mostly on the size of your screen (and the size of your fingers!)
On 4.3" screen -- Was playable and fun a year-and-half ago when MCPE was a LOT simpler!
On 5.5" screen -- Much better, but my old eyes tire quickly, staring at a small screen for such a busy game.
On 7" tablet -- Almost perfect … Except BlockLauncher doesn't work on "Intel Atom devices", … so I'm stuck looking at the same old, dusty textures.
Yes, MCPE on android is worth it. An addictive time-waster on any platform.
