So I have noticed that there are many people who are already bored with minecraft Pocket Edition. I do not play the original minecraft very much (come to think of it, Ive only played it once...) but I do play the pocket edition often. Here I will describe things that you might find entertaining to build, or do. If you found this helpful, please go to my youtube channel and subscribe/just watch a couple of videos. Thanks!
. Find all the different types of blocks that there are in survival mode. It isnt too hard to find some redstone, just dig straight down. Finding diamond on the other hand, well, good luck!
1. MULTIPLAYER IDEAS these are ideas for all of those who have a friend sharing the same wi-fi connection who want to play with you in survival. I am currently writing this topic while playing 0.3.0 version, so maybe in the future there will be a worldwide connection.
A. Have a game of capture the flag. First, divide the map into two sides. Try to make it as even as possible. I would suggest stacking a line of cobblestone along the surface, as it is very easy to get.
second, you will need to collect some wool from sheep. Find some sheep, shave them, and you will only need 2 wool.
Third, find a blue dye, and yellow dye, and create 1 blue wool and 1 yellow wool. The blue dye is hard to find, so you can also just use white instead.
Now that you have everything, we can begin gameplay. Give your friend one of the wool that you dyed. You will each go hide your flag (the wool) on each players respective side. Make sure that the block of wool is visible from at least 3 sides. I.E. Dont bury it. thats just being a jerk.
The next step of gameplay is to meet each other back at the dividing line. count down 3...2...1...GO!
You will each try to get each others flag. If you are on the opponents side, and he/she attacks you, then you must return to your side before you are able to do anything else.
If you have the flag in your hand, and you are tagged, you must drop the flag where it is and return to your side. Nobody can move it from there except you.
The same rules apply for both sides of course.
The first person who can steal the others flag and get it over to their respective side, wins.
NOTE: I found that it gets a bit boring looking for the other persons flag all day. So you can show each other your flags before the game starts instead of hiding them.
B. BUILD A COLLOSEUMcolaseum COLOSSEUM!!!
First, you will need a WHOLE LOT OF STONE. (If you are lazy, you can just use the infinite bricks that the game gives you at the beginning of survival). Now build up a HUGE hollow cube out of that stone or bricks. once you have made that cube (mine was 30 x 30 x 30 blocks). Now you can make multiple floors in this cube. be sure to make ladders that lead up to the next floor. I made 3 of these floors. now that you have done that, you can make small walls, obstacles, and etc. all around the place. I made these:
just a regular wall in the middle of the place. (3x4 stone)
a L shaped wall (if seen from above)
just some random bricks
A pillar (3x1 stone)
A long wall along the sides (3x10 stone)
And others use your imagination.
C. BUILD A MAZE.
hopefully this one is pretty self explanatory.
2. SOLO
Here are a couple of suggestions for those single players out there. I have much experience with these particular tasks.
A. If you put in the seed:{ the gobs of bog } then you will come up with a map that has a huge cave somewhere. Inside that cave are HUNDREDS of zombies. reclaiming that cave is actual very fun, as it takes you through an almost military-like scenario.
B. have a zombie farm! create a fenced in area with a gate, and then lure zombies in to that area. the more zombies the better! NOTE: make sure to create a roof for your zombie collection. Zombies HATE sunlight.
C. build some sort of pattern that looks like a phrase or word from above. Get up really high and take a screenshot of this (press home and sleep at the same time). you can reply to this topic with that picture if you want, doesnt matter to me. the person with the absolute coolest design wins, or something, heck, I dont know, its just fun.
D.create a world in creative mode, and then try and make it look like a scene from a movie. I had a lot of fun acting out The Empire Strikes Back in pocket edition.
E. OK, im just making stuff up on the spot on this one, but what if you created several zombie farms, and then released them at yourself to test how well you can fight them off. This would work a lot better if redstone actually did something, but hopefully that will come with the next update.
If you have any other suggestions, please add them below. Thanks again!
Hey guys, I've come back with a couple of more suggestions for things to do. Here's a couple:
1. BATTLESHIP
Game mode: creative
Players: 2
BUILDING: create one elevated dirt platform. The dimensions should be: 15x11
Next, we will want to place several different blocks along the edges of the 15 part of dirt. Start by placing 1 glass block on the side of the dirt at the very ends of the dirt platform on one side. It should look like this from above:
Understood? Good. Now, we will make a vertical wall in that middle lane. Each pillar will be 7 blocks high. The pillars will be made of:
(left to right)
1. Yellow (wool?)
2. Green wool
3. Red wool
4. Blue wool
5. Orange wool
6. Pink wool
7. Black wool
8. White wool
9. Brown wool
10. Grey wool
11. Bookshelf
Once these pillars are made, it will look more like the game Battleship. Now here's the tricky part. On the same side that you put the obsidian, Brick, etc. you will put one pillar that hangs off of the other pillars. It will look like this: (from a front view. Like when you're actually playing battleship.)
Glass. Other columns...
Cobblestone. Other columns...
Workbench. Other columns...
Wooden planks. Other columns...
Brick. Other columns...
Wood. Other columns...
Obsidian. Other columns...
Now you can see how this looks like battleship.
GAMEPLAY:
Just like battleship. Place 5 mushrooms anywhere on your side of the dirt. Your opponent does the same.
Now you will try to guess your opponents position of the mushrooms. Take turns and Say commands like:
Obsidian, Red.
If your opponent has a mushroom there, you will mark it down on the vertical wall of your board with an obsidian block. If it was a miss, you will mark that down on your side of the vertical board with a torch.
First one to sink all of their opponents mushrooms wins!
2. OBSTACLE RACES
Game mode: creative
Players: 1- infinite
BUILDING: create two tunnels that should be about 4 blocks high and 4 blocks wide. Have these tunnels next to each other separated only by one wall. They should start and end at a place where you can see the other side again after going through one of them.
Now create obstacles in these tunnels. Doorways, small jumps, anything. Just make sure it's equal in all tunnels.
PLAYING: You and a friend will start at the beginning of the tunnels each having picked their separate tunnels. You will both count down, 3...2...1...GO
You will race through the tunnels, and the first one to arrive at the other side wins!
NOTE: you can make the tunnels as long, big, and as many as you like! One tunnel for each participant. This leads a whole lot of creativity and originality for you to come up with. Have fun
3. AVATAR DUELS
Game mode: survival
Players: 2-4
OK, who remembers that old cartoon " Avatar, the last air bender".
No? Nobody?
How about the "Legend of Korra"
Yeah, you probably know that, well this is just like that. 4 different elements, all battling each other.
BUILDING: Now to start off, I would make a new world with the seed: atlantis. Basically all you need is a world with a big ocean.
So once you have your world, you will want to make a huge dirt platform in the middle of the ocean. Whatever the dimensions, it should be square. Now, make this dirt platform 3 layers high.
Now you will need to poke several random holes in the platform that reach all the way down to the water. Good. You're pretty much done building.
GAMEPLAY:
Basically, last one standing wins, along with a few elemental twists. Try to kill the rest of your opponents to win!
You will each choose your element, earth, fire, water, or air. Once this is chosen, follow the rules for each type of person below.
Fire benders:
You can only use bricks during this battle. They are red, like fire. You will use these brick to protect yourself, as it takes a lot to break through brick. However, your weakness is water. If you fall in the water, it's an automatic loss.
Earth Benders:
You are in your element here. You have dirt all around you, which only you are allowed to dig up and use to your defenses. Dig a hole and hide in it until your enemy approaches. You can dig up all the dirt so that your enemy I forced to fall into the water. If you fall in the water, you cannot use any blocks to help you get out of there. You will be stuck there until your enemy finishes you, or until you can reach the mainland and build a bridge back to the arena.
NOTE: nobody can dig up dirt EXCEPT you.
Water Benders:Haha! Now the fun begins. Before the game, you need to go out and retrieve 64 wooden planks. You will see why. You can be in the water as much as you like! You can hide there until the time is right to strike. You can get out of the water by using those wooden planks that you gathered. But you CANNOT USE THOSE PLANKS FOR ANYTHING ELSE. Go under the water at one point in the battlefield, and jump out of another hole right behind your enemy to surprise them.
Air Benders: masters of the sky, you can use as much glass as you would like. Build up towers of glass while being on top of them and them jump down to swoop on your enemies. If you fall in the water, you will automatically lose.
Thanks for reading my ideas! My favorite game is the avatar fight. More ideas soon to come, so check back about once a week.
Don't forget to at least watch a few of my videos on YouTube.
And as always, leave more ideas down below. I liked the underwater house idea ;D
Agreed.Underwater Bases may take very long for Beginners somehow as Water has a Unlimited Source of Flowage causing things to Flood.I may suggest that you create something new or your own Invention other than Oringinal Structures.
here are some things that you can Improve the games with now that the update has been released:
Battleship:
more blocks means more rows and columns!
Capture the Flag:
Items can now be stored in chests, use a chest with some stuff in it for a flag!
You can have multiple chests with multiple items to serve as multiple flags.

-----/Survival of The Fittest\-----
First you go on the seed "survival islands" which is a world of many islands, great for survival. And here are the rules...
•No building blocked in areas (for example, doors, boxes, you need to be able to be attacked at all times, this is what makes the game challenging.)
• No killing other players
•No stealing
• You must have your own island
•No sleeping (This is so you actually have to fight to survive.)
•Last remaining is the winner.)
• This is played on survival
• 2+ players

EDIT: Here's the start to my underwater base.. I'm planning on enlarging it but I just currently wanted to carve out a good amount of the water.
Thanks. Nice base by the way. I have tried to create underwater structures many times, but as you mentioned, it is time consuming.
That is one good seed. O.o Screw nyan! This is way better.
That is a very sexy seed!
Anyway, to make it easier to make the structures you posted, try using emoticons.
Very nice
