I really was excited for this update, I woke up early like a kid anticipating christmas! Sadly, I didnt take Apples stupidity and slowness... Excuse me. *Walks into next room and rages* Okay, Im gearing up for a grueling two weeks...
Thank you, I go here every day, I saw this and I wanted to talk to all of the wonderful Steve?'s Ive seen here Oh, And as for the Hunger bar topic, I would be slightly disappointed without one. Thats all Ive ever known though, I only began playing in 1.8.1 Beta due to Tobuscus! I trust you Minecraft Veterans know what to expect from Mojang.
They have actually stated that Caves are for sure, the world generator already creates more diverse worlds! As for boats, I agree. You never know, Since the base foundation of the crafting code and GUI is complete, We should expect each update to include many new recipes! :3

Also, does anyone have any specific information on the items craftable? One main concern is beds, oh! And furnaces! :DIm not sure that Daniel or Aron have brushed the subject, but the Wiki has had that written in multiple places. I may have not said the complete truth, but Im going off of relativally reliable source :/
Bricks, clay blocks, crafting table, sandstone, snow, stick, and wooden doors, it seems the list is in alphabetical order also, that's all 100% true, furnaces, are most likely going to be in there because to craft bricks you need clay blocks which involves smelting clay, so there is most likely a furnace also.Plus wiki is not really a reliable source
Well, That sure is a fantastic start. Im very confident in the future of PE! One thing that bothers me is how little they choose to work on it, I mean, look at the Original Minecraft Changelog! That was basically what it is today in months! We have had Pocket Edition for around a year and we are just now getting basic crafting? To top it all off its seven dollars!

Only 1 programmer working on pocket edition, while Xbox and pc have an entire group, of course it's slow
Notch was one programmer... And its actually two men.
Also, as of now, this is 0.3.0 (WIKI)
Possibly 0.3.0 - Next update will contain Minecraft Advanced Touch Technology Interface System (MATTIS)[1]Basic crafting[2][3] (MATTIS)[4] (similar to XBLA crafting)[5]More blocks and items. [6]May Add More Mobs ( Cows & Creepers )Submitted and waiting for approval . Apple takes around 10 days to approve.[7]

Kaplan isnt a programmer, he's a designer, he designs everything and Aron programs everything. And people have done a test, the average is 6 days, not ten
I laughed hard at that creeper ball thing. Back to my main point, Notch gave us a huge portion of Minecraft by himself and shorter than Pocjet editions existance.Pocket*
ugh it will be released in 10 years
stop doing this
