I gather that the android version allows people to exchanging maps by allowing access to the data files, has anyone on the dev team thought of adding UIFileSharingEnabled to the info.plist file when building the ios version? This flag allows the data folder to be accessed in itunes.
I shall attempt, although I doubt iTunes would recognize it even if I added that to the info.plist.
EDIT: nope, iTunes didn't have a clue.
I've used it in my own ios apps to expose the <Application_Home>/Documents directory but I know that ios is very picky about how the info.plist file is written so maybe you didn't set the value in the right place, I don't know. Also, there is no way to test the property without installing a compiled version onto a device, itunes will not see the iPhone Simulator. Finally, there are several places you can stick documents, like I don't know if your writing to the preference path, or the library. Now I'm not suggesting that you go down the iCloud path, I kind of like the independence of local storage.
I of course don't know where your storing the data files but Apple seams to be suggesting to people these days to stick your private data in <Application_Home/Library/ and your public data in <Application_Home/Documents.
Let me know if I can help by sharing some code I have written on the subject. Please don't take this as an ad, you can ever scrub the link latter if this forum lets you do such a thing, but as evidence I submit http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/execscript/id369626063?mt=8 my own app as prof that it can be done, the app is free, I am not so cleaver as to write an app worth paying for as you guys. :smile.gif:

Aww! I have to use my laptop? I don't even have one. "Access media files only!" That's a serious pain!
I'm just recording the construction process of my Ultimate, minimum redstone Mob Grinder (And having way too much fun with the video editor!)
