I'm running Android 2.3.3 in the SDK emulator on Windows 7 with MC PE installed, and it just crashes whenever I try launching it. Are there any special hardware requirements I'd have to emulate, or anything else to try fixing it?
His goal is to get Minecraft PE running on an emulator so he can use this emulator as a 24/7 server/the like, for other Minecraft PE users, not to play.
So you'll have to make a 4.0 emulator, then install PE on it, to get it to work. But it'll be real laggy FYI.
I've already tried the "use a vpn" theory and never got it working(me and a friend tried).
We even tried different types of VPNs.
But using it as a 24/7 server, even if it is just in your house, should(no guarantees!) work.

cuz it's real laggy if i turn on Fancy
No, Minecraft PE uses a lot of instructions from the Armv7 instruction set.
Epic bumping FTW.
Super epic bumping FTW.
Does it blend? Yes!
MCPE does indeed run in an emulator!
Info?
I use these AVD settings:
Install a backup of MCPE via adb
MCPE runs, but cannot render terrain, if Use Host GPU is turned off.
Also, BlueStacks now can run MCPE as well - not sure if it's the x86 version or the ARM version, though.
