I don't have an issue with the actual cap itself, but the fact that once you breed the villagers and you reach the cap you can't breed from that point on. Even if the villagers die and you drop below the maximum villager cap, you can't breed any more, ever.
I would like to see it changed so that if a Villager gets eaten by a Wolf, or falls off a cliff, gets killed by a mob, falls in a lake of lava, falls into a campfire, or just gets a sword to the face. You should be allowed to breed another villager to take it's open slot in the Max Cap.
Spending Days building an automated Villager feeding system, breeder, and trading station only to find out that Villager will no longer breed because of some idiotic feature that says you can only breed so many villagers really gets the blood boiling!
So 4JStudios, could you please, please, please put this into your "Things To Do." list?

or better yet have it so you use emeralds to breed them like giving pigs carrots sheep and cows wheat give 2 villagers emeralds to breed them would be a bit better than sticking down a huge door place to get them to breed
I'm OK with feeding the Villagers Potatoes, carrots, and bread. Makes good use of the farming system. I'm more focused on trying to get 4J to add this to their things to do list because a Cap like this is just way to silly. Keep the cap, but allow you to keep breeding if you drop back below the cap.

I just went through the Change Log @ http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-playstation-3-edition/mcps3-recent-upcoming-updates/2070908-minecraft-playstation-3-edition-patch-change-logs
and it says this was actually fixed in Patch 1.18 - July 24th 2015. But is seems the TU31 update has the same bug again.
I KNEW I wasn't losing my mind!!!
Reported the Bug @ https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCCE-1610
