NOTICE Advanced Tools will be moving over to Thermal Expansion 3 soon It is a MUCH more advanced version of this mod with TONS more potential and it uses Thermal Expansion's Redstone Flux instead of EU. The new implementations are secret at the moment, but trust me, it makes the new version SO much better. Due to this, I don't think I will be updating this version any longer, unless it's demanded enough, but I don't intend on using the same system as the new version, so I don't see why it would be. Cheers!

The Diamond Hammer breaks a 3x3x1 area out of stone material blocks plus obsidian.
The Iridium Hammer breaks a 5x5x1 area of stone material plus obsidian as well.
The Diamond Wide Bore Drill breaks a 3x3x1 area of stone and dirt material.
The Iridium Wide Bore Drill breaks a 5x5x1 area of stone and dirt material blocks.

Great mod! The 3d models look realy nice, but could you make the bore model more blocky?
Edit: Tested the mod! Its so amazing and its an good alternative to Tinkers Construct if using GregTech
But the OP-Iridium tools are a little bit to cheap... This mod belongs definedly to my modpack!!!
Thank you very much! I'll go ahead and take that into consideration, do you think dense iridium plates (9 iridium plates each) would be too much to replace it for?
I'm currently making a new channel (no videos yet) and I understand that you wouldn't want a stoplight from someone without any subscribers or videos but if you want, I'd make a spotlight on it. I'll have to learn a little bit about each tool so that I know what I'm talking about
VERY great mod so far. Definitely making a spotlight for you. I have it all planned out now so it should be up rather soon. Also, use the ore dictionary for items like iron plates. Right now I can only use IC2's but with GregTech, it unifies to Railcraft's. It's just a bit easier for people with multiple mods installed.
I'll go ahead and do the ore dictionary for my recipes in the morning, I'm really tired and need to go to bed. Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone, much more to come as well. Thanks for offering to do the spotlight too!
Made the spotlight and uploading now. If you don't like it, tell me to redo it and I will. I may just have slipped in some suggestions in the video too
Sorry, I´m using GregTech and it adds it own dense iridium plates, which replace yours and its they are also needed in the normal ic2 iridium drill. Because of that, the iridium bore looks very cheep... so could you please add GregTech support for the recipes for people like me, that want a real challenge with ic2? Thanks for fast reply!
Edit: Woo! New release and i didn´t realiced: Gregtech replaces iridium plates in recipes with iridium reinforced plates I mistook with dense iridium plates... Sorry Now this mod is completly ballanced even with GregTech!
Conclusion: a1.03 is awesome and makes the mod really balanced, TechMechs is a great modder and I need glasses
I love the mod spotlight! Thanks so much :D. didn't know they were enchantable thought I worked around it. I'll go ahead and remove it in the next update also adding the ore dictionary recipes. If you want to re-do it after I do that feel free but I think it's fine

Awesome! Sorry I didn't reply at all yesterday; my internet was down. All of today I was Christmas shopping (very last minute, I know :P) But love the changes. If you ever make any big updates or there comes a time where a lot has changed, I'll be happy to do an updated spotlight on it. Also, here's an idea: Make a charge station kind of block that can recharge items at a much faster rate. There used to be an item in GregTech that did it (The Charge-O-Mat) that had a 10 million EU Storage in it and charged tools and armor incredibly fast but it was removed. I think something like that would be extremely useful because the Iridium Bore Drill takes a very long time to charge up. Just a small suggestion in case you needed one
This mod isn't going to have any blocks at all I don't think, besides the auto treetap in the future, but I have another mod in eary development that I could do that with
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

Very nice. Even though a sickle is in the lead I would still like to see a auto tree tap eventually. It just seems that the auto tree tap is rarer than a sickle. Project Red for sickles and the closest I heard of to automate getting resin is a Multi-farm from Forestry.
I'm still going to do the auto treetap, I just wanted to see what was in demand at the moment. I just uploaded the new update for the electric shears, so the treetap is next,
