How do you even collect so much stuff in the first day?
This is my collection:
30 Oak Logs
24 Wooden Planks
A Crafting Table
Basic mining/killing tools (all wooden)
10 sand
20 Beef
2 Oak Saplings
An awful amount of dirt
So I was just wondering how many people are doing this challenge with the mods? Kinda new to computer version of the minecraft and was looking at doing the mods to add flavor to this challenge and make it easier to see under the water but couldnt get the water mod to work. Any ideas or other mods that you think would be good? Have a good one!

optifine has a built in clear water setting, and is easy to install. thats what I use.
How do you start a passive mob farm? Passive mobs only spawn on grass, and the only way you can get grass underwater is with silk touch, which isn't exactly feasible in one day. A chicken farm would be easy if collect a few eggs in the first day, but you couldn't get any other animals to spawn, as far as I know.
I started this challenge two days ago, and I've been working on it ever since. I collected supplies for one and a half days instead of only one though, and during that period, I turned it on peaceful. So yeah, I may have cheated a bit at first. But after I found a good place to build a home, I turned it on normal. I will put up pictures soon.
Edit: Okay, here are the pictures.
This is my farm. I found potatoes in a village while I was collecting supplies, so I mostly live off bread and baked potatoes. I'm hoping I will find a way to get grass down here soon so I can make a friendly mob spawner.
An abandoned mineshaft that I found. I got enough iron from it to start making iron tools and iron armor. Coal is also plentiful. It goes on pretty far, and it starts going deeper. It did have a cave spider spawner, but I destroyed it because it was becoming too dangerous.
A skeleton spawner. I died several times to a glitching, invincible skeleton. Good thing I had already made a bed. There is a small, dark cobblestone room on the side of the spawner that doesn't have a torch. Skeletons spawn in it so I can kill them easily for bones.
The bottom of the ocean where I live. There are random air pockets floating in the middle of the ocean, that's how I survived in building my small base.
My ugly, work in progress bedroom. I plan on making the whole base out of stone brick. I also plan on making a glass ceiling for my bedroom, and furniture. There will be an enchantment room next to this room.
My ugly, inefficient, and slow tree farm. I will be expanding the ceiling so I can grow taller trees.
And that's what I have down so far! Sorry it took so long!

xD! I can't even
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
Small Underwater Wheat Farm!
That can be done quite easily. Simply make a large room, place some light and a sapling. Boom! You got your tree.
Thats what I did, but it takes a while. I've finally got my 1st tree and desperately needed wood.
Also I just realized I posted this two years ago and people are still posting here.
I feel special.
