Clownfish, it doesn't worths to be fished... i mean just refills 1 hunger and its harder to fish than (normal) fish or salmon. I know theres probably other items to make competition to this item but this is the worst conbination of just 1 use and when you use it, it doesn´t really worths the time you need to fish it...
A sheep farm is 1000x more efficient than killing spiders derp
But what if you need string? You can't turn wool back into string, unlike, say, using iron blocks to store iron. Unless, of course, you need a lot of wool.
You can eat it, and it is better than nothing when you have no other food, plus the food poisoning effect doesn't stack, so if you eat 4-5 pieces at once to fill up your hunger bar you will get more benefit (hunger drains nearly 2 shanks, so eating just one piece will almost negate the hunger it restores, but you will still regenerate a heart or so). Tamed wolves can also be healed with it with no ill effects.
I would definitely have to agree with dead bushes.
They are just useless.
I guess they are ok for decoration because they make a desert look more like a desert.
But to improve this item being able to collect it or even make like a light brown dye or something like that out of it would be sorta cool.Rotten flesh is also a very unuseful item.
You would only eat it if you had ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD.
But then 70 percent of the time it poisons you.
To improve it, it could become like a potion ingredient like spider eyes.
Cauldrons. Now, here's my reasoning: There was a time when cauldrons were useful for brewing stations that were set up in the Nether, since Nether Wart only grew there. But since 1.3, Nether Wart has been able to grow in any dimension. Now what's their point? Aesthetics is really it, sadly. They do look nice, but aren't made to do that. Holding water is a nice thing, and so is collecting rain, but a 2 x 2 of water can easily make infinite water. Plus, bottles can remove water from a single water source block and not use it up. Cauldrons really don't have too much of a purpose anymore, sadly. :c
Cauldrons are very useful! With water, piston, and a comparater, they make interesting redstone mechanics...
I agree that sponges are pretty useless BUT! When using a texture pack and building in creative you can retexture sponge to an interesting unique block. So if you need that block that just fits right you can texture sponge to fit you needs.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
How about scenery?
Now Sponge is definitely useless.

Actually, sponges were once used to soak up water without a bucket, but Notch removed that feature. zthe most useless item would probably be lapis.

Perfect! and we'd finally have the potion of hunger!
Don't thank me just press the green upward arrow.
The answer to the universe.
Rotten flesh is very useful when you have a pack of wolves with you.
I like the light brown dye idea.

Anything after stone for a hoe is pretty pointless imo.
