Went to the nether to get some glowstone for a large project, and (not surprisingly) the place where our portal goes has almost no ****ing glow stone nearby, so I decided to make a 1 block wide "road" to some small patches hanging from the ceiling. It seems this area is surrounded by a lot of netherack, so the ghasts were having a hard time getting in. I killed one ghast, but I was unsuccessful in locating the rest of them, so I went back to mining. I got 24 pieces of dust and decided to get one more batch before I leaving the nether. I started moving to the next batch and right as I was coming up on a netherack ledge (safe place to stand) a ****ing fireball came out of nowhere and blew the road up from under my feet...I fell down into lava, too stunned to warp myself out.
Thankfully I emptied out most of my inventory before I went to the nether. I died carrying:
Building a nether house.
Go back to overworld for a pick.
Come back f**king ghast spawned in house.
Five minuets running round my house avoiding fireballs.
Cornered in bedroom.
Only 17 blocks remained of my house.
Ended up in a and e with a heart attack from ghast spawning in my house
I was walking really tiny distances by using light taps on my forward button. Was doing work along the cliff-edges of my mob trap. Then I accidentally activated sprint and went off into the abyss. And the time before that I died while testing the piston trap in my hidden treasure room.
