Hi guys, what is your most memorable minecraft moment?
Mine was in the first survival world i ever made. I had just made my first diamond pick and felt so proud that i decided to go on an adventure... I was smart and took a map with me, but eventually i got out of the maps range and got lost. I spent days trying to find my way back (real time). While i was gone, i found 3 villages 2 jungle temples, 1 pyramid, and my first desert well! By this time i had so much loot i could actually make a diamond chest plate and sword. At this time i was getting desperate. After 8 minecraft days of searching for my house, i gave up. I took off my armor and built a tower of cobble all the way to the clouds. I then placed a chest on top and put all my valuables in it. Then i jumped. Naturally i respond back at my house. I was so happy to be home even though i had lost all my diamonds. But i always thought, what if one day i actually found the place i had jumped from the pillar, climbed to the top, and reclaimed my diamonds from the chest....

Wow... that's an interesting one.
One time i was in the nether and I was slain my zombie pigmen and I idiotically went back to the nether with nothing to find my stuff. I went back and all i could find was some cobble, a bow, and arrows. After a while I gave up and on the way back I was being pursued by ghasts and I shot an arrow at it and the arrow hit a fire charge and the charge bounced back and killed the ghast.
Thanks for posting your stories, it really helped because this is like only my 3 topic that I've started and it feels good to actually have someone post something on it.
I was using my lead to take my pig Cubie with me while I was mining, and I had spotted some diamonds near a lava lake. I had my back turned to mine them, and suddenly I heard a dreaded hiss. Miraculously, my pig walked up to me (seeing as it was farther away when I walked up to the diamonds) and ended up shoving the creeper off the block into the pool of lava. I've relied on Cubie more then any horse, ocelot or wolf ever since.
Personally I've been playing Minecraft since it was in it's early day's and truly the most memorable moment is when I first opened up the game when it was in the Classic phase of the game , I remember seeing the little but selective variety of blocks to choose from and I began to construct very terribly built structures but still it was very fun and I enjoyed it a ton. Later on when the Indev and Infdev stages happend I remember all the new stuff that was slowly being added over that course of time and I was loving the idea of implementing a survival aspect to the game and slowly we came to the Alpha stage of Minecraft where I truly played a crap ton of it and kept on exploring and building and most importantly surviving. Eventually the Beta stage came along and it's history form there.
I was remodeling my house (I do it every Minecraft week or so) and started working. I worked until night, but I was far from done. I put down torches and continued bulding/remodeling. Then I heard the hiss of a creeper. I quickly jumped, spun in mid-air, and threw an ender pearl. I ended up way behind the creeper, and I used an instant health potion (about 3 in my inventory) and threw another ender pearl. I was teleported to my house, right behind the creeper. I drew my sword and killed it, and quickly spin-jumped and threw another ender pearl.
I ended up in front of a pair of creepers. So I threw an ender pearl straight up in the air and spin-jumped again, and threw an ender pearl behind me. I was teleported to my house, and then the other ender pearl came down in front of the creepers. I killed one, repeated my one-in-the-air-and-one-behind-me technique and killed the other one. Then I walked back to my house and continued remodeling my house.
Basically this is just some ender pearl ninja skill performance. I've had a few, but this is the best.

The more things change, the more they seem to stay the damn same.
I've stopped playing Minecraft years ago, but I'm still around to offer technical support.
If you're still reading this, have a wonderful day!
Haha hopefully you find your diamonds if you ever get to it.
I think my most memorable one was back in the days when I first played Minecraft. It was Minecraft Alpha. But more important, it was when I was so horrified of the dark and the hostile mobs. One occasion, I wanted to find ores (coal if I remember right) so I faced a dark cave to go in. After much hesitating, I slowly ventured a few blocks in when I heard a sound behind me. I looked behind to see what it was. There was mob against the bright background. I got so terrified that I hid behind a rock in that cave. That mob? It was a chicken.
The first time I played, in my first world, spiders really freaked me out. I remember the very first time I got brave enough to go out of my little dirt hut at night and attack a spider. Scared the crap out of me! I felt like a comic book super hero when I killed it! hahaha.

Truthfully? Most likely, it was the moment that I realized that holding the mouse button down would allow me to repeatedly punch the tree trunk!
Or the time I THOUGHT I had killed a skeleton, but it had simply swerved around, and it killed ME instead. Boy I felt really dumb about that death.
Finding dramatic vistas can still give me pause. Sometimes most of the terrain in my worlds is sort of humdrum, but every now and then a miles-high waterfall or lava flow pop into view. I enjoy exploring worlds a lot.
It has to be the first time I went to the End legitly. I spend so much time making enchanted diamond armor, all these potions, etc. I spawned away from the island, so I used an ender pearl to teleport to the edge of the island. As soon as I did this, the Ender Dragon came up and knocked me right into the void.
I was so mad I went back home and threw a diamond into the lava.

The time I thought that creepers exploding was just a myth and tried it myself on a random creeper

Digging straight down when I didn't know better! haha--i still at times when i want to live on the edge, dig straight down and see where I land xD
