I hope that one day in the future, several years after last playing Minecraft, I find it again and experience the same feelings. Unfortunately, I know this is impossible. I will always remember to punch down the trees and make planks. You just can't relive the first experience of any amazing game. You will always remember aspects of it. We need to just hold on to the memory.
i feel the exact same way!
i remember my first day... not knowing what to do, digging out a tiny cave, and hiding all night cause i was scared that a zombie would sneak up on me
Ah yes, the days of not knowing that when night came around that you needed shelter. My first time playing I did not realize it started on peaceful... S I built a few days and nights, nothing happened. Decided to try a new world. Didn't realize my client had changed difficulties, so I stood outside at night punching a tree, heard a snarl, saw a green skinned guy walk up to me arms out front.
Panicked. Beat him to death with an oak block.
Went back to thumping the tree... Heard a sizzle, turned around "You have died!"

(My first creeper encounter, but I didn't even see him. So I didn't even realize what I did wrong!)
Learning the game was definitely a fun experience. The closest you can get to reliving that experience(without giving yourself brain damage) would be to quit the game for a really long time and then come back.
God no, I would never want to be a noob again. And I wasn't really THAT much of a noob, because I watched 50 episodes of tutorials before I bought the game.
I mean like. Now, I know how to do everything in the game. It doesnt feel the same anymore. I wish i could just Forget about minecraft, And then play it again. Wouldn't that be awesome?
Whatta You guys think?
I don't know if it has already been said, but try out TerraFirmaCraft or Better than Wolves if you haven't already. Both of those change things so much that you get to relearn Minecraft.
This would indeed be nice. My best experiences are from when I started, and even though I knew some basic recipes, it was fun. Heck, I remember when I made a fishing rod, which back then didn't do anything yet. I freaked out and thought myself a genius. Good times.
Oh, I remember my best Minecraft noob experience... I tried to craft a gun... Then I called my friend over, who was very experienced at Minecraft, and told him to help me. I was in the most beautiful jungle biome i had ever seen, (I was in 1.2.5 BTW) I dug an underground "hidey hole" and built a little mine with the pickaxe my friend showed me how to make. Eventually I crafted a wooden sword. I felt so proud of myself, that I entered a cave (Jungle Caves are EXTREMELY RARE, But i found one.), expecting to PWN anything that dare cross my path. Immediately I found a cow inside the cave and I ran out screaming "HALP!!!" to my friend... When it became dark I saw a zombie banging on the door to my underground lair and I hid in my mineshaft, shifting so the zombie wouldn't see me, and blocking with my sword cowering in fear. But eventually it did turn daytime, and I had survived my first day in Minecraft... Barely. I ran away from a cow, if that doesn't scream "NOOB!!" Then i don't know what does.
OK guys you need a Mod i see .Try the mod Better that Wolves.Dont watch lp! Ok ok this mod changes the hole minecraft
half of the crafting recepies have deleted and now you need machines to make stuff.Walk slower i grass, dirt and more, walk faster o gravel and more.YOU eat a lot you cant sprint!Punch wood like punching stone.Found Iron, gold what you get of you smelt em?Ingots (Iron ones and gold ones)
I remember making an underground dirt house, trying to make a stove with dirt.
And I was playing on peaceful.
And in creative, every time I started to fly, I didn't know how to get down, so I just delete the world.
And I never knew how to open a wooden door. Silly me.
