it depends if you have a 3d video card installed or not, other than that 3d glasses could probbally be obtained at a movie store or online No 3D video card no 3D minecraft!
I believe that the 3D glasses needed are the basic red/blue lens glasses from the previous generation of 3D movies; either check with the local movie rental store or the local theater.
Make them. Buy red and blue cellophane (see through), and a pair of glasses with out any lenes (like any fake glasses without any lenes... get a pair from any die-hard Justin Bieber fan). tape red cellophane in one lens, and blue in the other (there might be a specific order, but I don't remember...), and take a strip of cellophane and place it between your thumbs. Blow hard to make a very loud and annoying sound that pisses people off in your vicinity.
There, you just made old fashioned 3D glasses and did your annoying deed for the day. Two birds with one stone.

This 3D Does not need a 3D video card. The 3D that Minecraft uses is simple color displacement, the same sort used in back when "3D" movies were first made. Nothing's needed but turning the option on and wearing the glasses.
Sometimes you can find them for free with the release of some 3D edition of a kids movie.
Personally, I suggest going to Amazon or something and buying a pair that aren't made of paper. Something quality that will last. These will be less than $10, and have superior colored lenses.
Oh, and you can occasionally find them in magazines that feature some kind of 3d pictorial. Quite often car magazines, Sports Illustrated, and porn.
The crappy cardboard ones in dvds don't work. You'll get a blue ghost image. You need plain red and blue. I'm going to make some out of a cardboard pair and stained glass.
Red/blue 3d never convinced my eyes and polarized light 3d still doesn't quite achieve the effect because of one big problem: depth of field. Double images of things I'm not focusing on are all wrong if they aren't also blurry. That's a big part of why it's ok to have the double image. Polarized glasses are still a big step up though.
When I realised there was a 3D setting I grabbed a pair I'd had from seeing Avatar at the cinema but couldn't see any difference... I could still see the red 'offset' image.Maybe it's cause I don't have a 3D graphics card or monitor or cause of the glasses type:

I hope you realize that the glasses you have and the glasses needed for minecraft's 3d are COMPLETELY different(I mean COMPLETELY)
