oh good for this thread this brings back good old memories when i started to play minecraft
well the first time i started was in a faction server not knowing it was factions and people could steal/destroy your home.
so for the first day that i played i made a hut of dirt and made a hole in it.
when i got outside it was dark so i pretty much knew that monsters come out at night and try to kill you so as scared as i was started punching the dirt and stone and made a hole there , stayed there for the rest of the night
i can remember i got like this on for at least 5-6 real life days without knowing that you can make a pickaxe
then the first home that i made was underground , the tutorias was from paulsuaresjr ... great guy and the game was 1.7

I have already posted something along these lines in another thread, so I will just use what I said in that thread and put it in this one.
When I was a noob, I thought lava was coal and fell in it trying to mine it. I made a dirt house on a mountain, no surprise there, and I accidentally placed a boat on top of my bed. I then ran out of a cave after hearing a cave sound for the first time. I tried to mine actual coal with my fists. I got lost while exploring and gave up on the world.
I will also add that I spawned in a snowy biome when I created my very first world on Minecraft.
My friend was playing the Minecraft: Pocket Edition demo and was building a tower. This was back around 2011, and I eventually tried the demo, and bought the game. Four years later, I got a PC powerful enough to run the Java Edition.
I gave a shot at Minecraft in early 2013 I think - caved in and bought the game as a birthday gift for myself ("I'm gonna see what's the deal with this game for once."). I spawned near trees, which I think was a plains biome near a forest. So I started punching a tree... and it took a couple attempts to realize I had to hold down the button to continue punching and break the block. I kinda ran around, looking the spawn area and wondering how to do... things I guess. Eventually night fell and hostiles started spawning. Dug a hole in the ground, passed the night in there, all while hearing mobs walk and groan. I think I came up too fast when daylight broke, and a zombie killed me.
"Y'know what, I'll come back to this game later."
Later being around 1.7.2 launch.

Lets see... lots of death. I was a noob :/
Dont know what to put here so take this Binding of Isaac meme.
When I got on a (Survival) world for the first time, I made a house out of Dirt and was soon killed by a Creeper. :/
