No light, no tools, only dirt, meat is the only food you can get....
Seems kinda boring... you would die in the first few days.
Well you could get wool and red and yellow dye from flowers. Also pink and orange. All you would need is bone meal to use on grass. It is even possible to get iron blocks because zombies rarely drop iron ingots. There are animals in superflat. The point is that it is a challenge. How about if I do the challenge as well. I will send a photo later to show my progress.

Because this is hardcore, you would probably die before you get a single iron ingot. Yes, there are animals, but without wheat, there is only a limited quantity. Sure, you could eat rotten flesh, but overall, it doesn't do that much, plus the zombies would probably kill you (or something else would while you're killing the zombie). And how does red and yellow dye help? Plus, it would be really difficult to kill a skeleton in the beginning without your world getting deleted when the terrain is completely flat. There are slimes everywhere even during the day, and your food supply would run out fast. You can't make beds because there's no wood. Because this is hard mode, you would die.
By the way, what is the goal of this challenge? Currently, this challenge actually is 100% possible, because you could just dig a hole in the ground and hide in it forever.
Oh my goodness! So sorry, you would not be able to craft iron blocks because for that you need a crafting table and there is no wood. Oh well. The goal of the challenge is to see how big you can make your fort and how long you can stay alive. This challenge is only recommended for hardcore gamers like me. The dyes are just to make your home look nice if you can stay alive long enough to get it. As for the skeletons you can just hide until daytime because then they will burn to death and you can just collect the bones. Beds unfortunately are also not possible because of the lack of a crafting table and wood.
I've got a better challenge, try to stay dead as long as possible. Kill yourself, and once you're in the re-spawn screen never leave it. If you turn off your computer or exit minecraft you lose.
NO mods must be used in this challengeIt is not impossible, I have been alive for a minecraft week and my base is coming along well. I will send pictures soon.
If you can read this you have a very large computer screen or good eye-sight! Here is a bigger version If you can read this you have a very large computer screen or good eye-sight!
Also, you cant make your base that big without a roof, because there is no light and mobs will spawn.
Well You can make one without a roof with some gaps do that spiders don't get in, hunt for food during the day (Although your fort would technically only be wool) I believe you could live off of traveling and building wool forts.

Holy crap! This guys got it!Is there anyone else who is man enough to survive the challenge?
Well I'm not a man but you don't need wool THERE IS DIRT!!! It may not look good but hey, it's better than dying.
Use murder holes. Then, just hit the monsters. Your acting as if there is no dirt in the world. Why am I the only person mentioning this?
Also, zombies can drop iron armor and tools. Look it up. I got a helmet once.
Play in hardcore mode in superflat and turn off all generated structures!
I know this challenge may seem impossible, but it is actually possible to make a living in this harsh world.
If you accept this challenge I would like to see some pictures of how you are doing. Thanks!
Warning:
This world is cruel, lacks resources, has billions of flesh eating monsters and food is few and far between.

Your hunger bar gradually decreases so that strategy won't be possible.
If you stand perfectly still, it won't.
Actually, if you stand still, you do not become hungry... please read the wiki before saying something like this.
It's like Abu Ghraib... except it's a game!
