Well i was walking normally whit the intentions of find a village or go to a desert and find some chest so i found this little boy on the forest and i din't wasted the chance of catching him so, the travel was easy because it was closer of my house but he killed me many times trying to find a place for him lol but at the end was successful at all
Such low chances of finding one. What's even more interesting is that we caught a second full diamond armor zombie a week later, and this one had enchanted armor. They're both in our server hostile mob zoo. Somewhere there is a breakdown of the chances of finding such a spawned mob, so I consider us very lucky.
Iron armor is not that uncommon; I see a mob with at least some iron every few days (of course, I do kill a thousand or more mobs during that time, so "not that uncommon" is relative); for comparison, diamond armor is about 30 times rarer and I've only seen around one every 100-120 play sessions*, and in a version where they are probably more common unless you AFK at a grinder a lot (all of these were seen while caving or on the surface; I do not use any sort mob farm besides manually breeding animals. In 1.8 they made changes to how regional difficulty works so that it has no effect at all until it reaches a certain level, while before you can see armored mobs on the very first day. In particular, they never occur on Easy anymore since the difficulty never gets high enough).
*The most recent mob I found with diamond armor - full enchanted at that, about a month ago. I've taken screenshots of 7 in the same world, not sure if that is all of them, but I've killed over 240,000 mobs for around 34,000 mobs per diamond armored mob (one was a skeleton, which have the same spawn chances as zombies but do not have their large pathfinding radius or calling others for help, so they are encountered less frequently. This also suggests that many more diamond mobs have spawned around me but they despawned before I saw them):
So, what you're saying is, you're pretty new to Minecraft. Cool!
It won't be the first zombie you find with iron armor, but they aren't very common, that's for sure.
Good job thinking to snap a few screenshots. I think it's fun to see people post pictures of their discoveries, even if Minecraft's mystery and wonder has worn thin for me. I still learn new things every now and again, and I've been playing for about four years.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
