I have a journal called "YOU CHOOSE!" survival, which I constantly tried to start on my old account, which I've lost the email and password to, but this time, I'm devoted to finish it. Too lazy to link it, go to my profile and find it!
I want to build a jungle village base with some new people, take some animals and make cages for them to stay at night safely of course. I want to add people to my Windows 10 realm and really dig deep into the world making quarries and mines. I wanna make outposts in between my destinations of biomes. I want to have storage huts where players can contribute and help build up and same style/theme jungle base with bridges. Gotta make some Skeleton farms for XP, and Bonemeal. Just a few things.
12. Build a “wild west” desert town (with villagers)
13. Build a “space age” floating town (with villagers)
14. Build a small city (with villagers and a beacon)
15. Build a creature museum with a desert/mesa room, an ice plains/ice
plains spikes room, an extreme hills room, a plains room, a forest
room, a taiga room, a mega taiga room, and a mushroom island room,
all with their respective mobs, plus a hostile mob room with a
charged creeper.
1. complete the last five advancements I need, including How Did We Get Here.
B. complete my rail tunnel to the end fortress, which branching off...
III. complete my rail tunnel to Mooshroom Island. I'm laying dirt down as I go, so the mycelium will move to the pen I've set up for mooshrooms back at my base. Yes, I know, silk touch, but I'm bored and have a LOT of dirt.
d. clean up my villages. I tried to get just librarians to village II, but a bunch of others jump into the elevator, so it's a mess. Eventually, I want a village for each profession, but that's a way long term goal.
5. clean out a woodland mansion. I have a map, and I've spent some time in it, got a few totems of undying, but I want to clean it out.
VI. finish my zoo. just getting started, so i don't have much yet, but I've got a nice big plain outside my base to set it up in.

I just scrapped all my old survival worlds and started a brand new survival world. My goal is to do things the right way this timeinstead of always making mistakes and messing things up! So far I have fenced in some cows and sheep, built a blaze grinder (only died twice building it!), and started taming the ocean monument that was right next to the survival island I spawned in on ( See thread Smallest 1 Tree Island I've Ever Seen for seed). I'm expanding the island by building a platform at sea level.
I haven't found a village yet, so I'm also preparing to cure some zombie villagers after I clean up the ocean monument, which will probably take me several more days of trips to the desert for sand.
- Mine a total of 2 million ore (currently at 1.96 million), half a million iron (currently at 479,000), and fill up 2 double chests with gold blocks, which will take another 2-3 weeks and a month respectively, not exactly sure about the gold but there is less than one empty row left in the second double chest.
- Explore all land in the current map I'm exploring, the 6th one I've made in this world (all max zoom, 2048x2048 blocks).
- Longer term - explore the underground across an entire continent, as they existed in 1.6.4 (depends on the exact size but I've reached ocean to the north, northeast, west, and southwest).
Those are some that I can think of; I am not playing this world with any real goals other than just how much caving/mining/etc I can do, which is just for fun, and any goals just come up as I play, with my last major milestone in this world being walking a distance equivalent to the old Far Lands, which I only thought of a few months before I reached it; in my most recent "other" world I did have the goal to find at least one of every type of cave/underground feature, which took about 20 days of playtime over 4 months and I stopped playing on it after finding all of them but no such goal exists in my first world, which has close to 120 days of playtime in total so far.
One thing for sure, I've long since reached my goal of having the most caved-out world anybody has ever made in Minecraft, possibly even if you include multiplayer servers with no map resets for years:
Those were made after I used a utility on a copy of the world to delete all chunks without torches - all of what you see has actually been explored (I modded mineshafts to remove their naturally generated torches, all 3 strongholds were found long ago) and the cropped world measures 6400x5680 blocks (the projection on the left side near the bottom is along a railway I recently made to a new base).

Create a fake desert? How'd you go about that? Did you go to the ocean with sandstone and sand? Did you convert a plains? That sounds interestig

To be honest, my biomes are fairly small (20 by 20 max). And yes, I am using a plains biome. (or at least the edge of one) I think I am going to rebuild my biomes somewhere else, maybe on one of the mushroom islands I found. (finally)
I would like to clear a jungle biome on a large biomes world and turn it into a city, at some point, I could easily do it, but am just too lazy I guess.

Whoah the format on that is out of order and duplicated or something, I would fix that, kind of hard to understand out of order and duped.

One of the most fun buildings I ever made was done up to look like the nether on the inside. Once you walked through the doors you'd swear you were in the nether, complete with lava pools and quartz ore and a couple named zombie pigmen in cages.
My ultimate goal is to setup an underground cave system in which I will have multiple levels that each have a purpose (ex. storage, farm etc.) and to keep expanding it until I eventually get to the edge of the world (I don't think I'll ever achieve it, but eh. Worth a try).

I mean with the actual world limits thats impossible pretty much, but like you said worth a try, a fun try indeed.

1) Build several "spooky" themed buildings before Halloween.
2) Build a gunpowder/music disc farm.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?

Start playing the game again. it's been at least 2 months attempting so far...
Watch out for the crabocalypse. Some say the day will never come. But it will.
Feel free to drop by for a chat whenever.
If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.
To be honest, my biomes are fairly small (20 by 20 max). And yes, I am using a plains biome. (or at least the edge of one) I think I am going to rebuild my biomes somewhere else, maybe on one of the mushroom islands I found. (finally)
