I put oak doors between the pillars on one side of the temple (I was experimenting with hidden (not secret, just closeted) storage concepts. The other side I reserved for villager trading, but I never got that far in that world. Both sides had to be squared off to accommodate these things, but it wasn't too bad. The far corners next to the pillars were small hallways that led to a greenhouse building I added.
I replaced the hardened clay and whatever sandstone was covering the tnt trap pit with stained glass equivalents (yellow looked atrocious, so I opted for white or light grey for the sandstone...but I don't recall which I used.) I glassed in the the floor space above the trap as well, and put a ceremonial garden around the edge (5 wheat, 5 potatoes, 5 carrots, and a single cactus). A T-landing staircase connected just in front of the front door. I didn't really want to do a staircase, but there wasn't enough room in the ceremonial garden for a water fountain (single source of water ringed in stairs) which was my original choice. Small 2-high windows embedded in the pyramid walls on all 4 sides let me peek outside to see what was going on.
Speaking of the pit, I used it as the entryway to the mines. I dug the 3x3 out all the way to bedrock and tiled the sandstone pattern at the bottom (where the chests were) all the way down. There was a glass floor at every y=level ending in 0 with a doorway where the chest niches were. A water ladder (a water source walled in so that it only flows down instead of to the sides) was my way up/down (this world existed before elytra were introduced). Below y=10 I dug out everything to bare bedrock and filled it with lava. Outside the shaft, the mine was a quarry-style with concentric ringed bridgeways expanding outwards. Torches lit the bridgeways, but the bedrock was resurfaced with netherrack with sporadic fires lighting it up (was intending to leave it dark, but it turned out too dark to actually see). Water ladders on the rings let me traverse the levels.
Back to the main chamber of the pyramid, along the opposite wall from the main entrance (which was also squared off) I did a small 1-block cobblestone generator with a connected infinite spring behind a sandstone upside-down stair countertop that spanned the entire wall. To one side was the crafting bench (relative to the countertop, it was placed one block up and one block back, into the wall) and a bank of manual furnaces. The other side had an enchanting table with the front bookshelves forming part of the wall and brewing stands with an ingredient dispenser hanging over the countertop (the redstone was outside and downward, until I expanded the base and covered up that part of the wall).
The two aforementioned hallways exiting the far corners of the main chamber led to the greenhouse (an added structure not part of the original temple) basement. This was where I stored the crops. Water ladders let me access the fields, but otherwise it was fully enclosed with glass in a sandstone frame. For no particular reason, I extended the water ladder to the roof so I could access the outside if I desired.
I also tacked on additional platforms to the sides of the pyramid, between the greenhouse and the two side towers on the front entrance. This was where I kept the animals, but I didn't do much with these sections before abandoning the world.
Hi all,
I'm looking for ideas for desert temple interior, keeping original look us possible. Strange can't find anything useful on google...
Thanks for help

Thanks a lot! That's really nice ideas.
