I have a village in the sky, but I want to be able to keep other players out. I know there has to be a block with sunlight coming through for the village to work right. Is there some way I can keep players out and still have the village functioning?
Ah, ok. I didn't know if glass would work or not. I guess I wasn't sure if air had to get through or transparent blocks worked. Thanks
Transparent is ok, but it has to be completely transparent, it can't reduce the amount of sunlight getting through at all. In other words, leaves are bad, and so is glass with water on top.

Wiki says air or transparent blocks, so I guess they do
However my village is in a snow biome. Is this going to mess things up? Snow will accumulate on the glass. Will that make it "not transparent?"
Thanks, guess we'll find out
Snow doesn't pile on glass.
