I've kind of put off Minecraft because I have gotten bored of it.. but with 1.3 litteraly being right around the corner.. I need some help from all of you.
You see, I need ideas of what to do on Minecraft once 1.3 is out. I've played, survived, built some nice houses, tried collecting x ammounts of blocks/ items, visited the Nether and The End and I'm just completely out of "energy/ ideas" I'll boot up Minecraft play for 2 minutes then just close it :/
I'll take any good, logical suggestions that will keep things fresh for me!
I am not doing something like trying to kill the Enderdragon with snowballs/ fists only etc.
If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 99% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 1% that would be laughing at them, copy this into your signature and hope it happens.
rebuild your irl home
play on a server
try out redstone contraptions
and, I have to say it, but mods. Some might feel awkward, but there are thousands, one will be fun.
I've been playing Minecraft on and off for over a year. Like you, I put it off until 1.3. Currently I'm playing the pre-release.
I'm gonna build a series of epic structures and have them linked up through a sub-space teleportation hub in the Nether. And I'll probably build some secret ruins and hide treasure in them too.
All the while I'll document everything in books and put them in a library somewhere.
To keep the game difficult, I've limited myself to one piece of non-leather armor and I'll play on Hard mode constantly. In order to avoid a variety of available resources, I'm playing in the Large Biome worldtype.
I don't foresee myself getting bored of this for a long time.
