Looting III would be great for mob farms.
Sharpness V is very powerful, especially on a diamond sword.
Knockback is very overpowered at level I. Knockback II can send mobs literally flying backward.
That's a really good enchantment you got.
I remember myself getting far too many Bane of Anthropods so I just stopped enchanting swords with more than 30 lvls. :/
And so I don't have to start my own thread. I've made an enchanting table and pretty much surrounded it with bookshelves.
The Problem: I can't read the names of the enchantments. It's all just encrypted lines. I'm sure I haven't done something right but don't know what I missed? Thanks for any help

You mean the runes? That's what it looks like. You can't read them in English.
You arent supposed to know, if u rly want to know, there are mods, also, it's all based on enchantability level of material whatever blabla something.. lol.
Thanks all. Guess I'm rollin' the dice then :smile.gif:
i havent enchanted with fifty lvls yet but i enchanted with 40-something once and got smite five. i havent used it yet because i was already halfway through a sword when i got to the point that i wanted to enchant, so its just sitting in my "really cool stuff" chest with gold apples, saddles, and records.
I've gotten a level 50 enchantment of Efficiency V on a diamond pick so be happy.
Efficiency V on a diamond pick?! Nice.
Now put that pick aside until you want to start mining obsidian. You'll cut right through it. Probably 2-3 seconds a chunk.
Man, I hate Knockback. The only thing it's good for is fighting creepers. I always end up launching mobs off cliffs and either losing the experience or having to climb down cliffs to pick it up.
I only had looting III on my diamond sword. But doesn't matter, had looting.
But I'm more proud of my Efficiency V, unbreaking III and Fortune III diamond pick. Shame it doesn't work on iron, gold and glowstone.
Just a quick question: Would it be hard to give naturally spawned iron, gold and glowstone a different block ID to obtained iron, gold and glowstone? If it isn't hard, by using that way, Fortune would work on them, and the ability wouldn't be abused to hell.
I just love the Knockback enchantment! You can littarly send mobs flying!
And it's very usefull for fighting creepers.
And Looting is very cool too, enspecially if you need ender pearls (I'm having trouble finding those things!).
Sharpness V
Knockback II
I'm pretty happy with it. How'd you do on your first?

Oh, but then my next two swords were like Smite IV and Knockback II, respectively.
Thanks all. Guess I'm rollin' the dice then :smile.gif:
