Wow Buster, Some nice furniture there :biggrin.gif:
:biggrin.gif: Thank you.
They're quite simple techniques, really, and they make rooms look so
much better. Plus most don't use up too many resources. It's a win/win/win!
You can place the torches anyplace, take out the side blocks, and use any material for the counter. Also an iron block goes well as a mirrir if you want that. You can't actually see a reflection but it looks nice. I just don't want it to show on the other side of my wall or have a 2 thick wall.

You should make it so wood makes paper, I mean how does a sugar cane in real life make paper?
Love the furniture idea. Now I want to make a save with for building an awesome house. And theres also a furniture mod called Fancypack Mod if you wanna search it.

A wild troll appears
Go, WaffelCoptor
WaffelCoptor used Report and Move on
It's super effective!
Enemy troll was defeated!
WaffelCoptor gained the appreciation of his peers for not bumping the troll topic

My preferred way to make lamps is to use glowstone, fences, and signs. You go like this...
<- glowstone
...and then you add a sign to each side of the glowstone to simulate a lampshade.
It also kind of forces the light around a bit the way a lampshade does (or at least it did in alpha, I haven't built one of these in beta yet).
make great barstools as well.
And, of course, wooden planks with blank signs on them hanging from the walls make good cabinets and white wool with or without signs simulates a refrigerator fairly well if you have the rest of the kitcheny decorations near it.

I probably would be less likely to die if I ran into the horde of zombies...
The new furnace tops make nice flooring. ^ Not really furniture but I like it so I had to show it.
Here's a bathtub (ignore the squid that spawned there lol):
Shower:
Wooden furniture w/ sign sides, a bar in the backgroudn and fireplace:
Now I can use colored wool to make couches, these look more comfortable than wooden furniture made from stairs:
And another from me.
Snow Flakes and Flake lights.
I shall just post a picture. ^^ And you should get the idea. This is Best for Snow Bioms. Should be floating for best effect.
And that is a Flake light. A Snow flake is just with out lava in the center. (I am using a custom painterly pack btw.)
Enjoy.

Bottom:
= white wool
Then I'd put a half block for a pillow.

The Sun rises in the North! Now these points of data make a beautiful line...
And if you want to have some extra bling you can change the iron block to gold. :smile.gif:
If we put a button on one side, we make the flush button!!
