I just bring one crafting table with me for mining maybe two or one in my house, mostly one. And sometimes i just lose them in the wild cause i forget to get them back -.- So maybe it's about 2~4 crafting tables in my world
I'd guess over 100. I leave them all over the place, including in random mines and caves. Why would you ever want to be more than 10 seconds from a crafting table? I'll often use them just as a stepping stool to jump up on walls or fences
