Solution: Fix your Java. More RAM. Better computer. Live with it.
And you left out some many details. You just stated that your mad, why? Post logs, and at least explain the situation some. Like c'mon...
What bug actually makes the game crash? And I would like to see you make a game without bugs.
About every time I play MC, about 10 minutes of it running, it crashes. And this isn't a very minor bug, there are a lot of MC players I know who have this, and its been around since the Beta as far as I know (I got the game in beta 1.2)
I had a crashing problem in like 1.7 or 1.8 but then it got fixed and I've never had that problem since. My computer is 4 years old so it's not always a problem of how awesome your computer is. It could just be a model of graphics card that hates minecraft.
What render distance are you on?
I remember that far distance randomly crashes.
Ah this reminds me. If you are on "Far", from what I've heard you need 64bit OS to run it. There may be a warning for this? I don't know, haven't played in about a month.
Badgering about the bad computer aside, I rarely crash unless my internet or the server are acting up. I often could play for 4-8 hours without a hitch if I wanted to.
My computer was once state of the art and I have a very nice graphics card and CPU, but only 2GB of memory... since it expects very high quality RAM and they no longer make it, so I can't add RAM. Still, I allocate 1GB to minecraft and it runs like a champ, either with the default minecraft client or with spoutcraft.
I also have an old clunker that runs the minecraft server (no screen, mouse or keyboard attached and no extra software, on XP 32bit!) - for days on end without ever needing a reboot.
The point I'm trying to make is that minecraft is not really that demanding. It is either your computer being too short on "something" (video, RAM, etc) or you running too many things on it at the same time. Spend some time learning what is needed and besides getting a basic education on computers you might find out that your computer might not need to be totally replaced and that you can get away with minor upgrades. Of course, if you upgrade make sure that what you buy (i.e.: video card) will work on an eventual new computer.

This. Exactly. Virtually impossible to root out all bugs in programming, especially when new content is added.

I never crash.

Because apparently, a 2008 computer can't run a game with 16-bit graphics.
Ah. So that explains why I can run BF3 at high settings.
The graphs have nothing to do with it. It's the amount of RAM it uses spawning thousands of blocks at once.
1. It's not 16-bit.
2. The year made means nothing. I'm playing on a Hardcore rig made in 06, runs all games maxed.
Because for some stupid reason far distance randomly crashes.
I'm on 32-bit and since updating to 1.0, it auto-set me to normal distance and says that far distance requires 64-bit.

Mine just tells me to switch to normal distance, yet i play in far with no lag lol.
I haz a SIGNATURE
