The recent things I added to my house was a water elevator that leads to my roof, so I can grab my bow and shoot skeletons, creepers, spiders, etc. I've also added a secret door, that leads into my basement. My basement organizes my treasure, food, building materials, etc. I've also added a little obstacle corse (for fun) just so if its night or something and i dont feel like going outside to mine or fight, i just add on or complete my obstacle corse.
I did an electrical light system with two on/off buttons in different places, using a flip-flop in the basement. It was useless at the time due to the low light intensity from redstone, but it would work with pistons and glowstone. However, you have to design your house around the circuitry due to the size.
Thumbnails, but it's a water disposal system, it's two blocks deep but only one block clearance so you can drown yourself with an inventory full of gravel.

Why do we need other people to have sex? I'm quite content with my farm animals, thank you.

My house in my old world had a secret door down to my mines and underground farms. Also had a library, full of bookshelves. Waiting on player written books to make a real one, though...
Not in my house, but I had an underground railway connecting my two bases across a continent (well, large island, but it was a couple hundred meters from base to base. Long enough to eat its fair share of iron).
With capacity for 50 people...
acually 1.609344 KM = 1609.344 meter blocks so you cant place .344 of a block in minecraft
lrn 2 math
agreed.
Math fail.
You can't place .344 of a block.

It's a new build which is why it's empty at the moment. This is it from the other angle:
The wall with the door is a fake wall aligned to the stairs to hide them from that side, but behind that door is a little closet space:

Oh the ****ing irony.
2: Watchtower.
3: 3 cobblestone generators with their output all moved to the same area by pistons. (Essentially a 3x power cobblestone generator)
4: Secret room that plays the secret noise from Zelda when opened.
YUM YUM YUM!

He was over-exaderating, dumb-ass.
welllll, actually, you can't place .344, you can still get a 1.609km long thing.
