I hate the yellowish grass one, because i dislike the grass color. My fav is the rainforest because everything is so green!
I would hate deserts and snowy too, but deserts provide glass and sandstone (best block!) and snowy biomes are rather well done, with their own tree types and all.

PostAblindmind1:Tnt can also be uses to see caves underground...unless they removed that bug.
Malacodor: With enough TNT you can see caves without using bugs.
The only ones I don't like are snowy ones because they're very bleak and bland. It a) hurts my eyes and B ) makes me depressed when I play in snowy areas... esp. if I play in snowy areas WHILE there's snow outside (of my house).
Fave? Taiga (Not tiaga)
Which ones I hate? Shrubland, savanna, tundra and current swamps. Shrubland lacks actual shrubs, savanna is boring without any special tree, tundra is just a boring snow plain and current swamps just doesnt work.
My least favorite biome would probably be the taiga. The ugly brown of the trees, combo'd with the dull color of grass and missing splotches of snow. It's hideous.

Baa baa black sheep have you any wool? Yes sir, yes sir three blocks full.
Favorite: Savanna. I like the biome shading for them (At least with the default pack), and they usually have a ton of tall grass. Other favorites of mine are swamps and taigas.
Least Favorite: Rainforest. They aren't really like rainforests (Taller trees and more plants would make them better), and the biome shading is way too green (With the default pack). I also dislike deserts and forests (Both are pretty boring).
I don't really care for sandy biomes. If I try to build a shelter there (I'm usually an underground-dweller) I often get an unexpected load of sand dumped on me.
I think my favorite would have to be one of the forests, but it's annoying having my visibility cut by so many trees. If I can move out to the plains and plant a few saplings, I'm better off. Regarding snow, I love it. Get out your shovel and you have instant knock-back ammo. (No damage, but it buys you some time to fiddle for your sword.) In one of my worlds, I have a lovely tundra home surrounded by forests and taiga, making a good trade-off between trees and visibility/access to snowballs.
My favorite is taiga, because I find snow-covered evergreens so charming.
Rainforest is a close runner-up; I have a weak spot for excessively green terrain. I don't hate savanna, but I find it a bit too brown; wood and stone building materials are already neutral-colored enough as it is.
Favorite is Shrubland/Savanna because I like being able to see everything in the distance. Least favorite is Forest. It is so hard to navigate in general and even harder during the night. When I do end up staying in a forest, I usually burn down all of the trees in a certain perimeter to make way for my home and so I can see things that are far away.
wow I've been out of the loop way too long. NPC villages AND new biomes in the next update? :blink.gif:
For now, definitely would have to choose rainforest. The other biomes and their grass colors annoy me slightly. Deserts would be my favorite if they were actual deserts and not just piles of sand with grass/dirt sprinkled all over
Desert is only good for sand mining.
...Mountains just plain suck.
Least Favourite - Tundra. I just really don't like how snow looks.
I would hate deserts and snowy too, but deserts provide glass and sandstone (best block!) and snowy biomes are rather well done, with their own tree types and all.

but i hate the rain forest because there is to much rain
