why isn't this removed? even in the topic it's been proven false
it's the same in 1.4 and 1.6_6, at any rate
Well at this point it isn't removed because of:
I am no longer maintaining this thread as it takes too much effort.
It shouldn't have ever been added though, it's pretty easy to see there'd been NO CHANGE to the texture right off, and it was disputed just a minute after being posted, long before it was added to this thread.
Earlier I was trying to mine down in a pond, and ran out of air on my way up.. Every time I took damage, it pushed me back down making it impossible to get to the surface, and of course I died. This is a very aggravating glitch.
I found a weird (and also practical) bug, in wich if I save and quit while im on a boat, when i come back i find more boats floating around, apparently 2 more, but im not sure.
i also had it set up in a small loop as my first attempt in a mine tunnel dident work. there were no bumps in the track it was flat and they still glitched out and got stuck.
People probably would have realized this problem. I dont know whether this just happens to me, whether its a bug or whether im doing stuff wrong, Im just posting this to see if other people encountered the same problem.
1. I built my house by caving into the side of a mountain.
2. After mining for about 20 minutes, putting torches every few steps, I decided to make my bedroom.
3. I made sure that the 2 layers of double doors were closed, then went to sleep.
4. I woke up with a zombie next to me. Although I know that they spawn when one sleeps, my base was well lit and had no openings. My bed was well away from the walls and the room was 3 blocks high.
5. I repeatedly tried to go to sleep, but to wake up to zombies/skeletons every single time for about 5-7 times.
6. Iv googled it, and people say its a bug in 1.6.6. Please help?!?!

Specifically, the part of the game that looks for a path the monsters can take, is considering one of the doors in any double door pair to be open, the same way that redstone circuits, buttons, levers, and pressure plates do.
While a mob can't actually get through, the game thinks it can for the purposes of the sleep test.
The solution is to not have a double door on the bedroom. Alternately, you could leave the "open" door open, so the game thinks it's closed, but then mobs will be able to actually get in, which could well be worse.
Hi all minecrafters! I'm sorry for disturbing and this is maybe not the right forum to share, but my friend is hosting this server. We need more members because we're not a that big server. Survival and lwc. Join it! :smile.gif:
As i said, i'm very sorry for disturbing, thanks for taking the time and read. IP: 80.65.203.138:25565
Heres a bug me and alot of people on youtube are having, we cant go to sleep because we get attacked every single time we try...our places are well lit and even over lit and we are forced to play on peacefull mode...
I have the weirdest bug in my game. The wolves I've tamed take damage from absolutely nothing at random, and eventually die. I hope this bug is sorted out soon.
You are not. They should open down (imo) and/or should function as ladders when open (again imo).
YES! Same here. If a ladder block is under it or over it and it is open, it should function as a ladder.

when the powerd cart comes to push the others it somewhat merges with the pushed cart and dosent move.
Has anyone else had this?
is there a way to fix that?
