Dragons!
They will be rare. When you do find one and want to tame it, you must provoke it. You can shoot it with arrows, but it will begin to attack you from the sky by swooping and breathing fire on you. You can pull it out of the sky and to the ground to engage it in a land battle. The only thing that will be able to hurt it because of it's scaly skin is a diamond sword, or an arrow into the mouth. During a land battle, it will use a combination of fire breathing and attempts to swipe you with it's tail. It has about 100 hearts not tamed, but for balancing it'll have 10 tamed. To tame it, you must fight it until it's last 10 hearts, where it'll collapse on the ground. At that point, you have to put a saddle on it and ride it, and "break it in" until it is tamed. When tamed, you can fly it (controls undefined at this point) and you can breath fire using the left mouse button by default, and fire arrows with a bow equipped with the right button. It'll also have an energy bar, initially starting out at 2 minutes, so you can't fly it forever. You can recover energy by either feeding it or waiting. When out of energy while in the middle of flying, you cannot gain altitude, you can only glide.
Epic dragon battles anybody?
Like a Sign because it is editable. Like a Painting because it has a texture on it.
The re-texturing panel could be placed on any block.
Texture creation would let you edit a grid of pixels. Besides having a wide array of color choice, you would also have 2 additional options for pixels:
Clear - Shows the pixel behind the re-texturing panel (on the block on which it is placed)
Transmissive - Shows the pixel on the OTHER side of the block (lets you see through the block entirely)
Notch would have to do something about a completely transmissive block or wall of them because you could make 'invisible barriers with them'... possibly hitting or even getting near a Re-texturing panel would make all the transmissive pixels turn opaque (like taking an object up to a portal 2 energy field makes it less transparent).
You could do all sorts of things. I could decorate my castle dungeon with shackles. I could Put Family Crests and hanging rugs on the wall. I could make 1 way windows.
The textures could be saved in a texture list that can be reused later. By placing multiple together, I could create many designs.

I would enjoy sticky boots. You just take leather shoes, and put slime balls underneath them in the crafting area. Then, you can use it to climb up walls, reduce falling damage, and maybe bouncing, where it would bounce higher depending on the material you land on.
I'd like to see more plantable crops, as well as some more uses for bone/feather/lapis/obsidian.
That being said, if I could only add 1 thing tomorrow it would be some method of increased ground transportation other than minecarts. First ideas that come to mind are bicycle, running shoes, or maybe a wooden cart pulled by animals?
In reality, pigs are much smarter than horses :wink.gif:
Let's hear some more!
A DONKEY AND A CART! It would be another method of ground transportation, and you could pile chests/players onto the cart. =3 You would also make a line of flowers which he ate to show him where to go.
All Minecraft needs is love. Love is all it needs.
Oh, and rocket launchers that shoot TNT with heat sensors so you can hit people and it explodes 10x bigger than normal TNT and also creates fire so that it burns stuff.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
No you didn't, because TNT damage doesn't stack.

..something similar to a sign AND a painting.

You got... a crafting table! Doodododo DOOOOO!!!!
- Pistons
- Webs
- More farming applications; flowers, pumpkins, mushrooms, + new stuff. (Technically not a new "item", but bear with me.)
You just made a shovel.

We already have clocks.
