Yup, I listen to the minecraft music while just exploring and spelunking generally, but when night falls and I feel like breaking out the diamond sword, I switch off the in game music and turn on some rap or rock or whatever else is first on my shuffle list.

Actually, that's the best mental image ever. A dying, drowning man stuffing his face from a massive wall of cake, and carving out a monstrous underwater cake picture. I'd pay to watch that irl.

Sometimes, i just feel like playing my itunes list. That generaly is composed of 80's and 90's songs (Mainly AC/DC And the Michael Jackson's "This is It" Album).
Which is weird because i was born in 1994, and everone else my age seems to like Rap.
Rap makes me sad. And angry.
And wish that i wasnt of this generation.

Urist McJimmy Cancels Play Minecraft; Dwarf Fortress too Awesome.

After a month of mining and crafting, I had yet to find a diamond or a music disc, so I just gave up and turned off the sound and listened to Creedence Clearwater Revival instead.
Now that I've got many diamonds and a gold music disc, I should probably make a jukebox and listen to the damn thing.

Thatssssssssssss a nice double post you have there...
Anyway, I generally hate rap except for a select few eminem and kid cudi songs. I don't listen to it to look cool or anything stupid like that, I listen to it because I like the tune and because I actually see some meaning in it (I'm on the pursuit of happiness, and I know/everything that shines ain't always gonna be gold).
Besides that, most of my other songs are a big jumble of genres. I have a couple of deadmau5 albums, some Coldplay, AC/DC, Hans Zimmer, Five for Fighting, Journey, Green day, etc.

Yeah, the problem with that is that THEY ARE ONLY 2 SONGS OF ABOUT 2 MINUTES EACH...
And the gold disc one in particular is not, um, interesting...
Well. I think the title its pretty self explanatory. And yes, I alredy did the search and all.
But, yeah.. I do.
I usually play with my own. :3
??? This is still about Minecraft...
He thinks it's not because it's not related to the gameplay of Minecraft itself, but rather what you do outside of game, playing music or not.

I don't want to know.

Mine. When it's cinematically creepy, I turn off my music and listen to the various noises of night/darkness...
During the daytime, I turn on my music (Ben Drake) and build/explore and such. I never actually turn on Minecraft's music however.
