... they really must be smart. You see, I have finally tamed a wolf, named it O'Donnell ( cookie to whoever gets the refference! ), and made a little pen for it. In his pen, I put a dispenser that gives Raw Porkchop when you step on the pressure plate right infront of it. Occasionally, I let the wolf walk around it's pen. Now, something really interesting happened..
... You see, I chose to let my wolf walk around it's pen. This time, it did something unusual. Something that looks kinda smart. You see, first it stood there and begged me for a porkchop - my hand was empty. So it stepped on the wooden pressure plate by the dispenser, sat down, and begged me to feed it. So I did. Then, the wolf got off of the wooden pressure plate, paused for a few seconds, and got back on - begging me once more. I fed it the porkchop...
... They know what they want. And they will do whatever it takes ( besides attacking ) to get it - even if it means acting cute.
BE AFRAID. BE VERY AFRAID.

And I don't know how much intelligence I'd really apply to them, I'm relatively sure that being able to detect a switch that is connected to a dispenser for pork chops is beyond their programming. It may be able to detect a pressure plate and decide to go stand on it though, so if you really want to test their potential, hook up different dispensers with different plates and see if they go after the pork chops instead of something like snowballs.

Do you have a lovely bunch of coconuts? Do you have them all standing in a row? Are there big ones, small ones, some as big as your head?

Yeah, I really like how they were implemented. I just wish I didn't have retame mine each time I play.
+1 COOKIE
Sadly, they cannot eat the beef from the dispenser - you have to pick it up and feed it to them.
Toyota does!
