hello, i have redownloaded Minecraft after several weeks.. or monthes O_O
i was kinda busy..
any way, i cant seem to find ANY iron ore's! or others, besides the basic wood, and soil, and several other stuff-there is nothing.
the second thing has really takin my attention- i was reading about some "Herobrine", whats the story about him? i heared he was notche's brother?
is there any clear pic of him? any one who met him?
Iron ore is in the ground below sea level so dig around. There's so much of it down there that you can't miss any for long.
As for Herobrine he's a fake entity people are trying to prove is true. Kinda like a ghost in Minecraft but he's as fake as the Sasquach. Only difference is that the latter still has a chance of being true, Herobrine is not
i dont really like caves.. and i didnt really find any either.
if i had a boat it could be usefull... but i do mine very deeply.. + read my edit + what mobs appear on "peacfull"?
No hostile mobs appear on peaceful. 6-10 levels below sea level is not deep by the way. Sea level is at height 64, The absolute bottom of the map is 1, but you can't practically get below about 5-6 because of the unbreakable bedrock layer.
If you are having trouble finding iron or coal, as said your best bet is to explore caves. You will find more ore along the walls of caves than just randomly. Without caves, your best bet is to mine intelligently. You can either strip mine by picking a certain area (like 10 by 10 or whatever you like) and removing every block in each layer going down. Time consuming, you'll wind up with a ton of cobble but there's no way you'll get lost or confused and you won't miss anything in your mine area.
Another good method is branch mining. Dig down to the level you want to mine, then start digging a tunnel the size you want. Five wide by five high is fine, but it's up to you. dig as far as you like in one direction, then go over your tunnel width plus two blocks and dig back. That way you have two blocks between each tunnel, so you can see both sides if there is anything valuable in between your tunnels.
Anyway, it's minecraft. It's all about mining a lot.
i got 3. +1 mining place.. its like a hall going down with ladders on one of the walls.. and then a medium room with like 3 different types of.. umm.. like land and stone.. you know..
and what about the RAM? i got 1024MB but its runin kinda slow.. i thought of upgrading.
oh gowd it was red all over the screen.. i so need more ram...
oh well.. any way,all i found is more of that oily thing... btw if i drop a sapling, whould it grow to a tree?
edit: i found what seems to be a start of a cave but its just block'ed, since its preety high i'd guess it can be a cliff..
any idea what can be found on a cliff? besides more sand, i can see that's already there..
i got a duel core proccessor.
and JUST 1GB of RAM.
now, i think the world generates itself as i move right? means if i go explore to place i never been to, they are created while i go right? means it takes **** LOAD of RAM.
You need to think of Minecraft less realistically. Caves will not collapse on you. and are found low, about 10 blocks above . You can't break that block. You should dig a staircase down from your shelter, and if you run out of torches, can be found in cliff faces, or you could make charcoal from trees by burning with in a . You need to mine with a pickaxe. Then, when yo find it, you'll need to smelt it with a . You will need an pickaxe to mine . drops which can be used to make the strongest tools in Minecraft. Beware and the worst mob of them all, the chicken.

Zombie pigmen will organize into well-coordinated search and destroy teams with weapons open, and creepers will develop the ability to determine certain eigenvalues of the voxel-based matrix that is the minecraft world.

i do mine, ALOT, im like 6-11 blocks below sea level. and im runin outa torches.
edit: i found a small waterfall, should i go check it out?
and does the game requiers a lot of RAM? cuz sometimes its getting slower, and i do have a good graphic's card (ATI Radeon 5670HD)
if i had a boat it could be usefull... but i do mine very deeply.. + read my edit + what mobs appear on "peacfull"?

and its getting dark, i will collect like 13 wood, make torches and go find a cave..
btw i want the iron for a cart.. and the rails.. how much do you think i will need (rails and like 2-3 carts..)
