I cannot login now, what's wrong?

Same here.

Occured a hour ago. And yesterday, I had this problem yesterday, every second minute was down.

EDIT: Trying to correct a typo caused a non-sense sentence. Cool.

it has been coming online and going offline for the past few hours.

Whenever I try to go to minecraft,net, it times out.

something really needs to be done about this, it's insane that notch with all his money can't provide us fail-safe servers

minecraft is offline.


they are probably modifying the server. or someone messed it up, it the server is in their office the contractors might have knocked it offline.

well whenever i try to go on it says it cant connect to minecraft.net AND when i got on it i couldnt get on a smp server :sad.gif:

Well, there goes our plans of my friends and I joining a survival mulitplayer server at the same time.
Guess we need to reschedule...

Maybe it's just me, but after making many million euros off over one million paying supporters of this game, I'd hope Notch would work on improving the server infrastructure by a vast amount to prevent the sort of downtime that kills both single and multiplayer users from getting on with their worlds... I know I can play if I get online with my account once, but I need to get online once.



It's been up and down for almost 2 days now. Getting to be really annoying.

The other alternative is to create mirrors that allow us to authenticate and grab updates even if the main site is offline.

I'd say a DoS maybe, but it seems to be up for the moment lol. I was able to log in after getting nothing for a couple tries. Just keep at it, you will get it eventually.

Worked for all of five seconds, died while I was clicking multiplayer.
