I've been making a house on my world and I when i finished most of it, I realised It's mostly empty! Here are some pics of what I got so far. Can you guys give me ideas for what to add?
This is my first big build ever. It's almost all legit.
I really like your texture pack, and it looks pretty good to me, as-is. Perhaps a basement or "furniture" to occupy space or provide storage?
You might consider searching the forums before making a "what should I..." thread, though. I've seen several other threads almost identical to this one pop up over the last few days.
Oh, and your second image is broken. You have a missing bracket after the [img] tage.
my imput is...
1) OMFG CURTAINS!
2) damn nice house man :biggrin.gif: i suck a building stuff xD
you should build a small farm or something surrounded by a fence next to your home ^^
Thanks! This is my first good build ever. And i'm going to make a basement with a farm.

As I said above, I'm going to make a basement, also sorry, I didn't think that people would have the same house as me and have the same problem.
I think:
"Dining room": Secret room full of treasure, behind that massive painting (you know, with doors behind the painting, also if applicable due to positioning in house)
Bedroom: Im not sure how this will look with you texture pack but i would put 3 maybe 4 craft boxes along the far wall opposite the end of the bed, like a dressing table.

Aaah i see ^^ thats quite a good idea :biggrin.gif: make shore to use enough torches for them to grow :smile.gif:
I find it funny that your first ever building is about 18.7 times better than mine (even though iv been playing for like 4 months lol)
I usually make all my farms underground . And I've been playing since SeaNanner's talked about it on youtube (late August) so this isn't exactly my first build. It's my first "Big" build.

Also i would say leave the upstairs foyer as is.
But a gnarly house it is dude :biggrin.gif:
I would do that with the Dining Room but there's no room. The house is made of wood and the wood is 1 layer thick.
I tried that with the bedroom and it didn't look good.

Before you ask, This is RuneSmith's texture pack http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=103166
The walkway leading up to the house.
The entrance.
The foyer. Not much room but I want to add something here.
This is what I like to call the "Dining Room".I have no clue at all what to do with this room.
Different view of the "Dining Room"
The "Kitchen". Those grates are pictures from RuneSmith.
Alternative view of the Kitchen.
The upstairs foyer. No clue what to do here, not much room either.
The bedroom. Very bare. No idea what to do with this place.
Alternative view of the bedroom. Those curtains are a painting with RuneSmiths. It's actually 2 paintings side-by-side.
Arial view of the house.
Please give you're input on the house!

Pretty simple.
Just stick a sign on either side of a stair.
You can add a TV, too.
This is how I did mine:

With a 2 x 2 in the blanks.
Basically it looks like this:

When the fire burns through the logs between the ceiling above the user, the water will fall thus putting out any fires.
