I have to say creepers. Not only do they blow up, they always seem to be outside my front door no matter how many torches I have out there. I can get a hit in on them, but they always blow up right away. I've tried hitting them and backing away, I've also tried standing still and hitting them. They always blow up, GRRRR!
Creepers. Nothing like building a nice, sturdy house just to have a huge hole ripped out of it in the night. That's when the spiders, skeletons and zombies (oh my!) can start grinding you up later.
I've yet to fully explore the nether, as I restarted the world I built a portal in after updates. I'd guess ghasts would be the hardest since they are the only mob that flys. Also netherstone (not sure if thats the official name, but you know what I mean) will burn forever, making them harder to fight. As someone mentioned, inadvertently hitting a zombie pigman with an arrow wouldn't help either. Someone else mentioned reflecting the ghasts fireballs, I would think multiple ghasts would throw that idea out the window, but I could be wrong.

Zombie pigmen followed by spiders. The pigmen are EVERYWHERE in hell. While you can normally avoid conflict, it doesn't stop them from spawning everywhere. When fighting off ghast, there always seems to be a pigman to wander right in front of my fist. After pissing it off, its going for the kill and all his friends are going to help. I don't think I've ever survived a pigman attack. Even when I think I can corner it and kill it away from the rest. The pigmen mafia always seems to repay in full.
Spiders, even with three of them chasing me, I can always fight back and cut down the numbers. At least you have a small chance with spiders. It's not like they are calling anyone else to fight.
I'm surprised that pigmen don't have more votes. They are the true terror of hell.

I think the reason the pigmen aren't voted for as much, is the fact that they aren't dangerous in their natural state (they won't attack unless provoked).

Definately skeleton. I've killed ghasts using their own flaming null attack, spider jockeys wearing only a leather chestplate, and creepers while running backwords. Skeletons however have some painful pathfinding..
I had to respawn a dozen freakin' times to kill one skeleton who wouldn't burn because he was swimming...

Manly blood is both highly acidic AND highly basic, but I'm glad to see you're paying attention.
I'd have to say skeleton as its the only ranged one besides a ghast, and ghasts are gigantic and extremely hard to miss. Creepers only really kill asleep people and everything else isn't even that dangerous to kill melee, a bow just makes them silly pathetic.
In fact, you're missing Monster/Mob/Human and Giants/Giant Zombie. I'd vote Giant Zombie if I wouldn't have arrows.
I don't think humans/PvP is worth mentioning on the list, because they would always win. The fact that people don't follow a pattern and can change tactics puts them above any mob. They also not only have the melee and ranged weapons that you do, but can also place blocks as barriers/shields.

No. You're being purposely ignorant, and a smartass.
I didn't vote spider jockey cause I've never seen one, and neither have i seen a Ghast but I can understand that one. I don't see how skeleton's are really that hard since even if you have troubles with them you can just wait inside till daytime, its the creepers that come and blow you up when your not looking.

Thank you for reminding me. Creepers survive in the sunlight, which makes them a danger even during the day.
Then again, with regards to spider jockeys, what happens to them in the day time (I've never met one)? does the skeleton die leaving the spider?

I always get ganged up on :'(
Creepers are CoD players with ninja pro. Skeletons have stopping power, and ghasts are just noobs, (Fail aim.) making them the most annoying.
