So I started playing again, build a nice castle and a small farm next to it then wandered off and found an amazing forest, so I have a question for you fellow Minecrafters out there.
Do you tend to keep your "house" in one place, or have multiple houses around the map?
State your reasoning for such.
Thanks.

I usually builds a bunch of small houses when I find an area with many resources but don't want to take it all to my main house especially when I go too far away.
One main house where i started to build at first day and around (only about 20 blocks away) it farms, towers etc SO it's all huge fortress and nothing more faraway, no smaller houses or bases. If i travel far away and stop and create little cave or whatever to survive night i just mark it with few blocks pole and torch, but NO BUILDING.
Well it depends how I want to play each world. Usually I do end up with multiple houses/bases scattered across the map, but I tend to operate by turning one base into a hub where I can centralise rarer resources. I try to at least build one home a full day's journey in every cardinal direction as I go, simply because it's more dignified than digging into dirt for the night when travelling to far corners of the map.
