In my opinion I believe having different colored wooden items would be awesome. I'd love a birch door to match my birch house, heck maybe a birch bow to match it too, maybe even some birch fences, okay I am going too far now. But in all honesty I think different colored woods should apply to all things made of wood.
However, I didn't include all wooden items, so you might have to suggest an item you want to me add.
