I recently just read about a suggestion for the "Lava Java"; a coffee shop in the nether. This also inspired me; how about a coffee shop?
"Expresso", as the store is called, is a coffee shop. It is 8x8 without the exterior and 10x10 with the exterior. It is made with spruce, birch and oak planks, however there is a coffee and mug print on the front of the shop made with red wool and iron.
The exterior of "Expresso"
The interior would be made of glass, jungle log, red stained clay, stone pressure plate, stone slabs, cooling stands, fences, doors, trapdoors, red wool, iron, crafting tables and a chest with coffee beans and mugs inside. The villagers would trade with you. You would get coffee which gives you a minute of regeneration and a minute of you on fire.
Villager: U want a coffee?
Nothing like a relax while drinking a relaxing drink. Plus you can also look at a print of a relaxing drink!
These are the villagers and what is behind them. The villagers will sell you a coffee for 1 emerald, a coffee for 1 emerald, 8 coffee beans for 2 emeralds, 2 emeralds for 8 coffee beans, 1 emerald for a mug and a mug for an emerald. Like normal villagers, these villagers can get exhausted.
Now I can get into the seats and tables. Seats are made of stone slabs while red stained clay and stone pressure plates make the tables. Villagers can come in "Expresso" and sit in the seats. Then the villager can sip it's coffee. After a certain amount of time, a coffee trade will be available with that villager.
The seating arrangement. Villagers can sit in the seats, chat with others, drink their coffee and sell it to the players.
In the chest, you would have coffee beans and mugs. You can craft the beans and mug together in a crafting table to create coffee. Mugs and coffee are only found in "Expresso".

You may have been wondering for some time; what is a cooling stand? A cooling stand is where you can use an ice pack to create cold coffee which doesn't set you on fire. While in the process of cooling a coffee, you can also add on potion effects to the coffee! A cooling stand is only found in "Expresso". An ice pack is also crafted with you arranging packed ice and ice in a crafting table in this pattern;
P = Packed Ice
I = Ice
PIP
IPI
PIP
You can use the ice pack to use a cooling stand.
The cooling stand GUI. The blue square is where you put the the ice (in the image, the ice pack is in already), the potion bottles are potions where you can combine them with the coffee, and the blank is where you put your coffee.
And the result; a coffee shop in villages where you can buy delicious (and hot) coffee!

I once heard someone say you could fight off the Ender Dragon with sticks. He was the smartest person I have ever met.
I don't really care if you're trolling or not, but this is just an unneeded idea and it's rather.. stupid?
Yeah, I don't support this, sorry.
Yup, all the "is this a joke or not" stuff aside, the idea doesn't really fit with the other parts of the game. It is out of place and doesn't jive with other Village mechanics (for example, Villagers are NEVER forcibly enclosed somewhere unless it is from bad world generation or player action).
Basically, I think this idea is bad because of the same reason I think the other one is bad. Regardless of how much detail you put into posts some things just don't fit with the other things.

Openly putting "I love to troll" on a profile in a forum is... a strange choice to make.
Anyway, the idea. Yeah. So you saw the idea about elaborate coffee shops being slapped in the Nether (where the closest thing to civilization there is zombie pigmen aimlessly roaming around) and decided to copy that idea for the Overworld.
Well, credit words due, the Overworld is better for coffee shops than the Nether, but the idea is still pretty stupid for Minecraft. I'm just stating the obvious now and fueling all this...
Why, can't we just implement this as a mod? No need for coffee beans - cocoa beans will do the trick. And it wouldn't fit with villages, as said by other people.
My avatar-Madison Gotha. She knows various weapons, she's a mage/sage, and is somewhat immortal. Madison has the capability of taming and communicating monsters, a genetic trait passed down by her father. 26 physically, 1400-something mentally, and a Lofty Peakian/Zenithian mix. Doesn't really like being called an elf and hates being called human..
I might be Moderator, but don't bother treating me too special. And don't make tons of Ban Hammer jokes, please. Also, I'm an Off-Topic only Mod. Don't ask me to lock a thread or something if it's not in the off-topic
The Nether is less likely for a coffee shop to appear. A village is.
That's specifically why I like it. Imagine traveling through the Nether and finding, out of all things, a coffee shop. I find it would be very funny to find in the middle of Hell. In a village? Well, not so much... it would somewhat be expected (not a whole lot 'cause villagers are dumber than dirt...)
Also, one thing in the design bothers me: The iron blocks. All it would take is one Expresso to turn a new spawn into a tank (not like that's bad, just kinda pushes MY buttons) Not that that helped me decide my standpoint on the matter.
So, yeah. I would prefer to find Coffee shops in Hell. Call me weird. :/

Pig villagers (Most likely where the Lava Java will appear) are more advanced, and have brewing stands. They even tamed a few skellies to work for them. And watch as your pathetic villagers huddle into a house awaiting death. Ha!

Basically said everything I'd say. Definitely no support.
I remember reading topics by a guy who advocated adding Call of Duty style mortars to the game and went into enormous detail with his suggestion. That doesn't mean it isn't still a gamebreaking suggestion.

Attention all you humans - Who feel the overload
A message from the underworld - We finally broke the code
There is no god in heaven - There is no answer fit
Just a phantom overlord who says that this is it, I said yeah
So basically, you decided to copy someone else's troll idea and move it to the overworld?
So this isn't even an original troll idea?
Basically said everything I'd say. Definitely no support.

Everybody thinks this is a troll idea. Well, I know at least a COUPLE of legit trolls here (I'm not one of them)

I really would rather this be a troll idea. I would still absolutely hate it, but at least you wouldn't mean it.
1. Doesn't fit at all.
2. Way too easy materials (5 iron blocks?)

I am so mad at the Sky fanboys who are like "ADD BUUUDDDER TWO MINCRFT CUZ BURDR Z SP ASWUM ND STUFZ BUDDERBUDDERBUDDER :D:D:D:D" that I am dedicating my signature to stopping them. I had gone into more depth, but the stupid signature limit stopped me. Oh well.
There are quite a few flaws with this idea, the first one being that it doesn't fit the nature of NPC villages whatsoever. The iron blocks that it has are way too valuable for a village, the design doesn't fit in at all with the other buildings (much too complex compared to the simplicity of the other houses), and it would implement a drink that is overpowered. MAYBE this idea could work, if the design of the building was much more like the "Inn" building and it just had a chest inside with a coffee drink or something, and the butcher villagers could sell coffee as well. Though it still seems a bit strange for minecraft and there's definitely bigger priorities.

Two words: NO SUPPORT.
I think this post needs a toilet
Also, that coffee motif...
And after that, we'll be seeing 5000-storey Highpoints where villagers always go to in the day
