All you have to do is push it into the wall or the floor or whatever. Yes, it's a nuisance, but it's part of clearing the area. You also have the choice of building around it, which could make some interesting structures. Also, I think it should only spawn in certain biomes (not sure which ones yet, but maybe one of the new ones for the next update).
The only problem is that if there is something like 13 or more blocks behind the block your trying push with a piston, nothing happens. this could be a huge problem underground
I don't want it everywhere. Just one biome, maybe two.
But lots of things are nuisances. Lava pools are nuisances. Skeletons and zombies are nuisances. Mountains in your way are nuisances.
No you can't say "Just one biome, maybe two". How is it going to generate then? In what level(Because under y=40, it's pretty much underground)? Also, Lava pools really aren't nuisances, skeletons and zombies are fun to fight not impossible! Mountains? I just carve a base inside em! I'm slightly angry because sometimes, these kinds of threads that are just too ridiculous to get added in the game sends some good suggestions to the back of the forums...
I actually kinda agree. Because when people make the "invisible pressure plate piston doors" You can just mine the door. With this block, you have to know where the pressure plate is.
Perfect for creative mode. Not really for survival.
This suggestion is terrible and honestly I have to ask if you gave it any thought whatsoever.
This suggestion is terrible for the following reasons:
The ore make no sense... Pistonium that has mini pistons on the texture and only movable by pushing it? Are you serious? That makes literally no sense.
It is annoying to have either dig around it or move it with pistons.
It adds no challenge to the game WHAT SO EVER, just tediousness.
Moving enough of it far enough with pistons to make a house takes forever.
In the time you are moving it you could just make a house out of obsidian which would make a better house anyway because at least if someone wants to break in they need a diamond pick or spend forever mining.
And what makes it so useless for making a house out of is that a person could just make a piston and push the pistonium out of the way faster then it would take to mine though obsidian with a non diamond tool.
This is useless and adds little to nothing to the game, the way you described it, it wouldn't even look that good. And it doesn't protect against griefers as they will just smash up the inside of your house and leave the ugly indestructible outside alone. Also "Don't use it" and "It will only be in 1 or 2 biomes" are not excuses, they do not make up for poor idea planning and the uselessness of the block. And the idea of moving something that is indestructible goes against Minecraft's current logic. The hardest materials (obsidian and bedrock) can't be pushed, but this new bedrock-type block can? So overall, no support and please try to think your ideas through better.

The problem with the truth, is that it never lies.
I don't want it everywhere. Just one biome, maybe two.

Lots of things are nuisances, yep. Turn dat lava to obsidian. or pick it up with a crapton of buckets. Skellies and Zombies are nuisances. Wait till day, sleep, murder their faces. Mountains are nuisances? What? I don't even . . . ugh. . . (facepalm)
How are mountains nuisances, exactly? PLEASE explain, this is NOT a rhetorical question. I don't understand how mountains are nuisances, ever. EVER.
Sooooo we want this in the game because..? You mention how we can build houses with it but we can't collect it. Did your brain suddenly shut off in the middle of suggesting this? That facepalm isn't just for you, but for the people who keep falling for these threads.
This block is so hard to build with, it wouldn't be worth a griefer's time. But for your serious pranker, this is the perfect block. It's also good for protecting your house from all but the most determined griefers.
I think the true griefer would be Mojang for putting this in the game to begin with. No one is gonna be stupid enough to spend hours using pistons to build with this crap. Nice try. No.
Yeah.... no. If It was a ore that spawned a minature explosion when mined or was only breakable by a pickaxe of a specific tier, it may be good. I really don't think anyone wants to push a block all the way to their base.
How are mountains nuisances, exactly? PLEASE explain, this is NOT a rhetorical question. I don't understand how mountains are nuisances, ever. EVER.
That's an easy one. Mountains are nuisances for people who want to build a large building in a flat space. If you haven't encountered an inconvenient mountain in Minecraft, then you haven't truly played Minecraft. Are you telling me you've never ever had a building that would be easier to build if there weren't a mountain (or hill) in the way?
No you can't say "Just one biome, maybe two". How is it going to generate then?
On every level in a specific biome. Let's say Disco Hills, just for fun. Much like emerald, it can appear at any level as long as you're in the Disco Hills.
I'm slightly angry because sometimes, these kinds of threads that are just too ridiculous to get added in the game sends some good suggestions to the back of the forums...
This is a better suggestion than 90% of the suggestions on the first two pages. If there's a suggestion you like, you're allowed to bump it. Though it would help if you had something constructive to add.

If you don't want to push it all the way to your base, that's fine too. You can leave it as an interesting phenomenon in the biome where it generated (I'm saying Disco Hills for now). This makes that particular biome that much more interesting to visit, because now you have cool stuff to see that you can only see when you go there. Unless you felt like pistoning the pistonium back to your base, but apparently that's too much work for you.
Why? what purpose would this serve other than a handful of practical uses?
if by a "handful of practical uses" you mean five, then I guess we're settled. I don't think any new block needs more than five practical uses to be a good idea.

This is a bad idea. I like having a little shack on the surface, and then dig out a huge base underground. Finding these would make that
really annoying. I don't want to push one, or several of these blocks several hundred blocks (I really like big, open underground bases ) just to finish my base. On a server it would be dangerous to afk, since a griefer, or a griefer team, could push several of these around you, so you would be stuck there forever. And makin your house out of it would not protect it from griefers, they could just use a piston to push them away.

Unlike mountains, we don't need to move an indestructible block that can only be "removed" by pistons, we just need picks, shovels, and TNT.

I see your point, but Pistonium seems like a bad wat to put it, maybe a good way of making a player visit another biome is Ore diversity, like for example, a little bit more iron on the plains, forest, and desert biome, more gems (Diamonds, Lapiz, Emerald) in Extreme Hills and Canyon Biomes.
If you would mine it it eould drop cobblestone/nothing
lol, don't tell him Minecraft has pistons.

All in all I give this suggestion a 0/10.
Worst suggestion ever.

Enderdragon Roar in the Overworld
Rollercoaster
I barely had the attention span to do this.
I don't want to encounter "Bedrock ore" while I'm mining, and I'm certainly not carrying pistons around.
...AND I'm not going to be the guy who gets grief-trapped in an ore box.
Stay fluffy~
