It's what the title says. It looks like a bookshelf, but is two high, and one thick. When you right click it, it opens, either out, or into the wall. Or it could have to be attached to redstone and be used by a lever. This could be used for a secret labratory, or whatever you want. They could also be very rare in villages. When you opened it, it would go into a secret room.
I think this would be really cool to make, like an old mansion, or something.

I like this idea as I'm into making a lot of secret entrances with pistons already but it seems to be too bulky with the pistons, even for a 1x2 entrance.
I think that the solution simply needs to be wallpaper, something that could retexture blocks to look like others. For example, I could re-texture a door to be a 2 bookshelves.
I'd say this is pretty alright, also the door should have a one pixel depression at the wall it's in, so to make it possible to detect.
Crafting recipe should be a 2x3 arrangement of bookshelves and yield 6 doors due to the fact it takes 6 planks to make a normal door and one bookshelf block.
They are not practical enough for the current libraries in NPC villages at the moment but would be great for an adventure map or adding depth on a bookshelf wall.
Hidden Doors are not a new idea, sorry to burst everybody's bubble. However, that does not mean it's a bad idea. I've seen a few suggestions for hidden doors of various other materials, such as Brick.

Vague, needs a crafting recipe. You also double posted this, so you may want to report one of the posts and ask a mod to remove it.
Not sure if support or not.
Hopefully we see more door types in the future.

What about people that don't use your texture pack?
