If so, then they can modify the Easy mode instead to do this. Not having your hunger go down is rather useful at times so I'm more in favor of modifying easy intot his rather than peaceful
The point of Peaceful is to not have to worry about anything. The only ways you can possibly die are through drowning, falling, wolves, and suffocation.
No support. Peaceful is meant to be... Well, peaceful. It gives newbies a chance to get used to the controls and buildings and such with NO worries. Just play on easy if you want to actually worry.
People will complain they don't want hunger whilst others complain they want to be able to be scared. Peaceful should be as its name suggests, peaceful. That means, no hostiles, no hunger, no health and no 'bad stuff'. Then you could have Easy as peaceful right now, Moderate as the current easy, Medium, current, Hard, current, Hostile, even harder etc.
I agree with the other posters. Peaceful should be kept as a mode where you don't need to worry about anything except your own gross stupidity.
But I do think there should be a mode in between Peaceful and Easy, or a custom configuration which allows a combination of the two, so for example you could have hunger but without having to fight hostile mobs.
Yes, I would like a mode that has hunger but still no mobs. I can see the argument against adding this to peaceful though. So I agree they should either make this easy mode, or make it a mode in between peaceful and easy.
If you want a world where hunger goes down just use cheats to keep mobs from naturally spawning and turn the mode to easy/normal/hard. The command is /gamerule doMobSpawning false. So I give no support.
I think mojang should make peaceful not literally peaceful,but with some pros and cons.
Pros:
No hostile mobs
fall damage will be decreased
Cons:
Hunger can go down
wolfs still attack you
So,this is just a little suggestion about making peaceful more challenging.
