My dog won't stop growling like a complete and total dummkopf and it's seriously getting on my nerves. Instead of killing it, maybe I should just give it a hushpuppy™ by combining wheat and seeds like shown below!
= 12 hushpuppies
A hushpuppy will give a person 0.5 muttons, and it will shut a dog up, plus giving it a little health.
I don't mind the idea of hushing up your dog, but I don't happen to like the fact that it's a "hush puppy." I think if you feed your dog wheat or something it should hush up maybe. Other than that, this idea is just ...meh...don't really need it.
What they need to do is fix the underlying AI behavior.
I had a wolf that just started growling for no reason at all (didn't get attacked by another player). I had to kill it because it wouldn't close its face.

Most likely because your point at the basics is 'My dog is annoying so something should be added to the game to make it stop'
I do not see how that is a problem.
The solutions you offered did not fix the underlying problem- the dog is annoying. If he must turn off the sound to not be annoyed by the dog, he is still being annoyed by the dog (as he cannot hear anything at all).

Pretty much what you're saying is 'If he turns off the dog sound, he'll still be annoyed because he cannot hear the dog.'
Well, if he wanted to hear the dog, where's his problem?

Your thoughts?
+1 would be nice :3
On multiplayer when other people hit me accidentally (or on purpose) even if I kill them, they keep growling.
What if I want to hear the rest of the game?
Haha, yeah, I have. I don't think that's their issue xD
I'd still hear the growling...
Go into .minecraft and replace the wolf growl with something extremely quiet, or just a blank .ogg

I understand your point. I had a post about turning off ambient sounds and people were all like "Turn off your sound you whiner!"
I like the idea, but I wouldn't expect it anytime soon (To be honest I haven't seen really any suggestions on the forums added).
THey need to fix a lot of mob AI iMO.

You told him to turn down the volume.
That makes it impossible to hear everything else in the game. That's pretty blasted annoying, in my opinion.
By the way, why do you care? Are you a moral crusader for whimpering-dog-haters-anonymous?
OT: Why, TVFlea, it's a pleasure to see you!
Are you trying to make a suggestion?
If so then I get it.
I however....
Do not support this idea.
