Wouldn't Minecraft be better with countless new features, fun new tools, and a new ore to supply all this and more? Well, say hello to Aluminum Ore!
How Do I Get Aluminum Ore?
Well, for starters, make sure you have a Cobblestone pickaxe on hand to mine the Aluminum. It spawns at layers 48 or lower, but oddly enough most common on layers 24-46. But, yes, it can be found lower. At most common, it is a bit more common than Lapis Lazuli. It is found in the Overworld. Rather conviently, it only takes 0.4 seconds to mine with a Diamond Pickaxe, 0.25 seconds with a Golden Pickaxe, 0.6 for Iron, and 0.9 for Stone. From mining the ore, you get the ore block itself, in which you must smelt in order to get an Aluminum Ingot.
How Can I Make Weaponry/Armor?
It is good to know before making utilities the statistics of Aluminum Weapons/Armor.
Aluminum Durability: 172 Mining Speed: A Tad Slower Than Iron HitPoints: 6 (3 Hearts) Boots: 1 Helmet: 1 Chestplate: 2.5 Leggings: 2 *Armour protection measured in icons
To make the armour, simply arrange your Aluminum Ingots in the orderly fashion of any typical armour peice, cooresponding with that type of peice. Same follows with the weapons. But, one new feature is implemented: Spears! To make a spear, arrange 2 Sticks and 1 Aluminum Ingot, sticks on the bottom, ingot on top. It deals 3 Damage, but is prone to Critical Hits. Plus, it has new enchantments. "Fine Point" can allow for faster attacking rate and a 1 point damage increase, up to three times. "React" allows for an explosion on contact with the spear, two times smaller than a creeper explosion, and as you take no damage, enemies take an extra 3 Damage. It can be enchanted once.
Are There Any Other Aluminum Forms Neccessary For Other Objects?
I'll make this very simple.
9 Aluminum Ingots = 1 Aluminum Block 2 Aluminum Ingots (In A Straight Line) = 4 Aluminum Rods 4 Aluminum Ingots (In A Diamond Shape) = 4 Aluminum Cubes
What Else Is Aluminum Good For?
Aluminum is very important in primary metal objects. Many awesome objects that would be awesome in metal and more aluminum can supply.
Aluminum Blocks 9 Aluminum Ingots will create one block. It can be placed regularly and doesn't react in any way.
Aluminum Panels If you are using Aluminum as a flooring, blocks can be expensive. Simply place 3 ingots in a line in your crafting bench to retrieve 8 Aluminum Panels! These are as flat as a snow top and look like aluminum blocks.
Aluminum Stairs As assumed by you, they are crafted any typical fashion. Of course, with Blocks being far too hard to acheive, they will be made with cubes.
Aluminum Ladders Ladders use some new implementations. They are made with two rows of cubes on the sides. Then, in the middle, a rod is placed. This will earn you 4 Aluminum Ladders.
Aluminum Cages Cage Blocks are made entirely for decoration. Place 5 Rods in a checkerboard pattern to make 4 Cage Blocks.
Deflectors Deflectors are made with a 3X3 grid of Aluminum Panels. A Deflector comes on a pedestal, and can be shifted in any direction. They reflect virtually any projectile. Arrows, fire, all deflected. When deflected, the projectiles, if they do damage, do double damage, on the remark of it being a skillful shot.
Resistor Screens Resistor Screens are made with a Block of Aluminum with Aluminum Panels surrounding it. It blocks out sound coming from a distance. So, in a dome of Resistor Screens, you would hear nothing from the outside world. The more you have, the more it muffles the sound.
Aluminum Wires Aluminum wires are wires that you can set up. Made with 3 rods in a line, you earn 8 Wires. You can connect these wires to transmit redstone.
Aluminum Fences Ah yes, thee aluminum fence. A metal fence that would be a nice artistic addition to minecraft. Made like a regular fence with Aluminum Rods, it acts just like that of a regular fence.
Awesome Features: ~Using 1 Ingot on a weapon in a crafting table has a 25% chance to sharpen it ~Cubes are 2X smaller than a block, and are placeable decorations

Seems good, but the crafting recipie is a shovel xD.

Sorry, but no. Metal in general aren't good sound absorbing materials. Wools and fibers are better.
It sounds interesting. I do not support the tools and armor, because we don't really need more, unless it fills the gap between iron and diamond. All of the other ideas sound really interesting, like the reflectors and sound blockers.
Like I have stated, you can agree with some items and disagree with others, it's a pick and choose kind of idea. Ohyea, and I am the meaning of life. Rawr.
Its pretty good, i mean a few ups and downs. Jeb could edit this some and possibly add it.(Not likely) If he doesn't, just make it a mod.
Very good idea, but i think alot of things are submitted like this. If you truly wanna apeal Jeb, make something Different!!!
Sorry, I felt like it was important, Lawl. But seriosly, if you want something added, it has to be special

Yeah, maybe 4 sticks and 1 ingot in a cross shape?
Right here:

Well, minus the tool/armor idea, how would you like it?
Oh, and for more, since the other member basically told you everything listed, they can be placed, and are about 2X smaller than the block.
Duh...just saw it back up before that. You really should add it to the other part, though.
I guess I support.
