Hardcore mode, a forgotten feature of minecraft. it could be so much better then it is now. with just a few adjustments more people would pay more attention to it.

Okay, I think hardcore mode is same as is. The game is locked on hard and you fall off a cliff can end you forever. People wouldn't really pay attention to this because they can't bring anything you suggested to other worlds.

My avatar-Madison Gotha. She knows various weapons, she's a mage/sage, and is somewhat immortal. Madison has the capability of taming and communicating monsters, a genetic trait passed down by her father. 26 physically, 1400-something mentally, and a Lofty Peakian/Zenithian mix. But yeah, perhaps new mobs that are significantly stronger than the normal ones (such as ones that weaken armor or poison the player) that have useful drops.

Did something happen to you in your childhood to give you this unreasonable fear of rutabaga?
Hostile water mobs that drop worthwhile things like, say, "bubbles" that fill your water bar and make you move a bit faster underwater, or making cave spiders have a chance of spawning in a cave system, even not close to a spawner[only when it's dark of course] but having better loot in the chests.
I dunno, just spitballing at this point. My idea is that things should be added that are very difficult but rewarding.
