So children, what is the one thing that has been so neglected? thats right! Books!
We all knew it was coming :3
So my first idea is the Book press! What this does is is uses 2 pistons (I will put up crafting recipes later) 6 iron and some redstone, and it creates one book press! Now plop this block down and give it a right click. It opens a new menu that has 3 slots, one for a book that has been written in and one for a Ink sac! put a book that HAS BEEN WRITTEN IN! and then put the ink sac in! power it with redstone. It will take about a half a Minecraft day (~5 minutes) to dupe books!
Next idea? Oh gee, heres a good one! LETS STORE BOOKS IN BOOKSHELFS! Right click one and it opens a new GUI with 5 slots. Only books can be placed in these slots! And here is the cool part. The texture of the book shelfs will be dark where the books should be! put one BERK in there and a few books pop up. 2 A few more. 3. Half way. 4. Only a few empty spaces. and 5 Current texture :3
And now somthing pretty cool. This idea is Enchantment Books. These can be found in the folowing: Abandoned Mineshafts, Strongholds, and VERY VERY VERY rarley in a NEW chest in a church in the NPC villages. These could be implemented in dungeons too but that might be a little easy.
So now you have these enchantment books right? What can I do with them? well right click and it opens up a cool little GUI similar to the enchantment table. But here is the exception. You can tell what your getting. So rather than have JSJDSHJFDHJDFGIBBERISH in those slots. It will be your language! EXAMPLE! Put your diamond sword in the GUI and you will get 1! (not 3) option and it will ALWAYS be very low. IE the best thing you can get is like, Fire Aspect 1. So put it in, get your enchantment that WILL NOT use XP, and have fun! or if you have a enchantment table you can sell it for 5 to 8 emeralds :3
So thats that! I will add more stuff later! if you don't like this tell me why, if you do please leave a comment! I want all the feedback I can get to improve this idea!
No wishlists. But the rules also state no mini-modding. So I don't give a

Although I am certain it has been suggested before, I would definitely like bookshelves as a means of storing books. Unfortunately, doing so would make book shelves unable to be pushed by pistons, as they would need a tile entity to store the books. Look HERE for more information.

Nothing is stopping tile entities from being pushed except Mojang's stubbornness. I've seen many mods that allow that to happen, so it is possible, but for some reason Mojang doesn't allow it.
